Ekaa Villa & Kitchen

The attention to detail was clear when staying at Ekaa. The decor and ambience was very inviting and experiential. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had breakfast in the morning at the hotel, and we felt like royalty. Fresh pressed juice. Fresh French press. Tasty food. Everything was wonderful.

My time at Ekaa really influenced how I felt about Agra and how much I enjoyed my trip positively. Starting from the staff that was so hospitable and caring, the experiences curated by them really show Agra beyond the Taj, and the food at Ekaa is truly so flavourful and refreshing! I really had a great time there and they surely know what they’re doing!🙌🏻❤✨

The place is so aesthetically pleasing and every corner is beautifully detailed. We could feel the warmth as soon as we entered the space, the staff was well trained and made our stay quite comfortable.
We absolutely loved the food. The menu was well curated and full of flavours.

Food was fantastic, both breakfast and dinner. They offered food which was not mainstream as you can get it anywhere else. Staff was very friendly and helpful, gave a lot of tips for our travel, not only in Agra but also for other cities. The hotel was very cosy and clean. We could not wish for a better place to start our holidays in India.

Clearly the best hotel in all my trip in India. The rooms are very comfortable, the decoration is very nice and the breakfast made me want to stay three extra nights just to eat it again.
It is not at walking distance to the Taj Mahal but clearly all those that are near are quite bad in comparison.

The establishment boasts modern amenities and a welcoming staff, from the reception desk to server Jeevan, the chef, and housekeeping staff. While the city boasts numerous 5-star deluxe hotels, this property possesses its own unique charm. I particularly enjoyed their breakfast service, featuring freshly squeezed Kinos sourced locally and served with a choice of fruits, eggs, and the local specialty, aloo bedai. I quickly found my favorite spot in their quaint coffee shop, reminiscent of an English countryside home. The patal ki thal with Indian specialty dishes was a delight, with each entree meticulously crafted and presented. This establishment appeals to all senses, creating a true sense of comfort. While they also offer continental dishes, I didn't have the opportunity to sample them personally.

The best thing that happened to us recently. Everything is clean and comfortable. All staff are happy to help. The food in their restaurant was very tasty.

This is a thoughtfully decorated hotel, with attention to detail, and also very comfortable. The rooms are large, and beds and chairs are great! They are environmentally conscious too, which shows in their choice of vanities, no bottled water (but filtered water is refilled in beautiful jugs in the room everyday), etc. The food is really delicious and healthy, very different from the usual food at Indian restaurants worldwide. Their in-house mixologist makes fantastic cocktails! They provide thoughtful suggestions to match your needs, interests, and plans for your stay in Agra. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly.

We stayed 2 nights at Ekaa Villa for our anniversary and their hospitality was one of the highlights of our time in India! It’s obvious the owners love the industry they’re in. Although we felt a little bit like high maintenance guests (phone issues/train tickets/visas) nothing was too much trouble for them and they made a point of ensuring we loved our time in Agra, which we did. It’s clear to us since moving on that you just don’t get the same kind of hotel experience in larger hotel chains as you do in smaller boutiques like Ekaa.
The rooms were beautifully designed and had everything we needed, a very comfy bed too! We loved the restaurant and the care they take to deliver authentic Indian cuisine the way it’s cooked at home. Steph and I encourage anyone planning a trip to Agra to consider Ekaa I guarantee your memory of the place will be fonder for it!

What an incredible boutique hotel. If you want something unique, and off the beaten track this is the place to be! Such a great quality hotel, clean, beautiful decor, comfy, small, homely! Amazing!

You can also buy any decor you like in the hotel. It is eco friendly. The staff are incredibly kind and hospitable.

The food is on point for all meals!

AND they have a hotel doggie who is a beautiful added benefit! He loves pats and belly rubs and I loved seeing him every day!

What a stunning place. Only 13 rooms, just off the chaotic street, welcoming staff, no plastic bottles hoooray - copper water canisters beside the bed. In the ensuite room are toiletries, home-made seed biscuits plus tea coffee etc, rain shower, comfy big bed, quiet. For dinner I had the broccoli & paneer burger & fries - never have I had such tasty vegetarian food (I'm not a vege), washed down with a mint cucumber cooler gin tonic & soda. Perfect. Credit to the owners, one of whom served us breakfast. Should have stayed longer than one night!

We recently stayed with the amazing team at Ekka Villa for one night with a very early check in and an extremely late check out with full use of our room until our 8.13pm overnight train to Varanasi. Local regional food was served with pride and many hours were spent discussing the cultural richness, traditions and complexities of India past, present and future. Would highly recommend Ekaa Villa as the ideal home away from home when exploring the awe inspiring Taj Mahal and sites of Agra.

We had a fantastic stay at Ekaa Villa & Kitchen in Agra. You can feel the love, passion and soul that was put into Ekaa the moment you step trough the front door. Everything from the interior design and the food to the hospitality is top notch. We stayed one night to visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise (which is within walking distance from Ekaa :)) and were blown away by the culinary experience that the restaurant offered (where we sampled some traditional home-cooked cuisine), as well as the friendliness of all of the staff. Upon leaving, they provided us with personalized recommendations for food and activities for the remainder of our travels trough India, which was so thoughtful. If you need any help planning your trip in India, they are there for you. We would have happily stayed for another week to try any of the Agra experiences they offer. If you are looking for accomodation in Agra, do not hesitate to book Ekaa. It truly was the perfect stay for us and one we will never forget :)

Few days back I visited Agra & stayed at this beautiful property Ekaa Villa, That is just 750m away from the Taj. Such a beautiful property with super comfort & luxurious rooms. The hospitality is amazing. They have kitchen as well which serves yumm food especially must try is their Aloo Bedai & Patall ki Daawat. I loved their dal tarka & paneer butter masala as well. As you'll stay with them. They serve you variety of dal & paneer & trust me it all taste so amazing. I would 100% recommend this property to people who are visiting Agra & looking for a boutique property as this can be there go to place. This is the Best hotel to stay in Agra.
