Hichkee Cafe

Amongst the hustle bustle of Agra, this breezy roof top place is very pleasant. The staff too is courteous.
However the best part is food. The pasta was good but a thumbs up to the chef's special Broccoli and dates salad. I shall remember it as the taste of Agra.

HICHKEE restaurant cum bar is on the 4th Floor of Hotel Alleviate (Yamuna Kinara Road, Mantola Kachori Ghat). We were returning back from Taj mahal and were in search of a good restaurant to have our lunch before driving down to Delhi. We were lucky enough to spot this restaurant since its within the Hotel property. It’s a WOW experience once you reach the roof top , you can see the Taj from the terrace. The ambience, food and staff were great and we enjoyed our food to its best. Try the Handi Chicken, its good and spicy.

Hichkee is a nice rooftop to spend your evening. The ambience and vibe of this cafe is great. Food is also good but my personal favourite are the drinks, hatsoff to the bartender for making such good drinks.

Excellent ambience, Taj mahal view from terrace. All kind of hard and soft drinks available. It has good atmosphere, families enjoy their time there. Small dance floor as well. All the items we ordered like cheesey nachos, Peanut masala, chilli paneer, crispy corns and dahi kebab were very delicious. Polite staff, fast service underline the overall experience.

This is a open terrace cafe offering best view of the Taj Mahal. The food was good , service was also on point. Although parking can be an issue but it will be taken care by the valet.

Best: Taj Mahal is visible on sunny day. So perfect place for a date.

Food is good, ambiance is good and gets even better on weekends.
A bit expensive but is an experience, just the light is problem too little light here.

The view is amazing. Since it is an open deck, going in evenings only is recommended. They have put large fans which makes atmosphere cool if not chilled.

Nice place for family outings. The DJ was not there the day I went but I am sure with DJ and nice part floor, this must be great place for people to have family functions.

I always try to explore new places to eat while in a new city. I checked through some options online which lead me to this amazing place.
Positive:
1. The rooftop sitting arrangement is very nice ,
2. The UV lights all over the place is really amazing ti see things in a different way,
3. Well designed menu keeping in mind the UV lights, it really glows when you open the menu.
4. Food was awesome, can't complain but it's really tasty, but don't mind I cook more tasty white sauce pasta 😋.
5. Music is top notch , didn't feel I was not sitting in a Metro city bar, even in Delhi some bars play very offbeat kind of repeating music.
6. Courtesy of the staff is appreciated, the waiter couldn't understand the ingredients when I've ordered a Chef's special, after a while the chef came to my table to explain and finalize the order.
**Could Improve :
1. Feeling of coziness can be improved with the siting arrangement.
2. It's winter night, placing a few fire stands can give much comfort.
3. Why don't you do something with the waiter's uniform keeping I'm mind that you have UV lights at night and it will be interesting to see and spot a glowing waiter.

I had to take cab to reach this cafe in night around 11:00 p.m. as it was around 5 km away from the hotel taj plaza where I stayed.
it remains open till 11:30 in night which is the best part about this cafe, another good thing is that this cafe is at the rooftop with a view.

And they have a dedicated person who as a DJ who keeps playing beautiful songs and they play on requests too. But the peculiar thing is that they play very loud music, much like you happen to hear in pubs. so you may not like the idea of having meal here if you like to sit in a quiet place. the view from inside and the food was heavenly divine!

Came here many times but truly I would say that their food Is very tasty especially nachos and pizza. Main course is also good. Would come here soon.

We went there in the evening and the view was very magnificent. They were playing good music collection . the atmosphere and decor are good . If you are in the hotel alleviate you should definitely try .

Hichkee cafe is the gem i found on my recent visit to Agra. Its situated on the terrace of hotel Alleviate. Usp of the cafe is its rooftop ambience & decor. Food was equally good along with quick service.

If I could define Hichkee in one word, it would be "fantastic". From the food to the view, everything was just perfect! The service was a little slow, probably because it was crowded during that time of the day. 100/100 recommend
