Balkeshwar Mahadev Mandir

An interesting thing to know about Balkeshwar Mandir is that it is amongst the four Lord Shiva temple in Agra that are located on the four corners of the city. Situated in Balkeshwar Colony on the banks of Yamuna River, Balkeshwar Mandir is one of the top pilgrimage sites in Agra. The temple holds a special significance in the hearts of devotees, and hence, remains dotted with a large pack of pilgrims. Besides being a religious place in Agra, the temple also serves an important hideout for people to spend a spiritual time far away from the cacophony of the city life. The Shivalinga inside the temple lies 4-5 feet below the ground level. Every year, on the pious day of Shivaratri, the temple witnesses a huge footfall of pilgrims. Not just this, a huge ceremony. One of the four main temples situated on the four corners of Agra & dedicated to lord shiva. Very spacious temple and built in modern era structure. Yamuna banks are just at a walking distance from the temple. Quite parking space available here. You can't have the holy darshan of Lord shiva everytime. Only for a few times devotees can go inside the main shrine rest of the time you can have dardhan from window or outside the main gate. Har Har Mahadev🚩

One of the four main temple of Lord shiva in Agra. Mandir is spacious but devotees can't go inside, you have to do darshan from window. Yamuna bank is opposite to mandir at a walkable distance. Little parking is there but problem for the car owner. Avoid to come by your own car at festival day.

Best place for peace and worship and the unique thing is this the respected pujaris put copper utensil for common people to jal abhishek of lord shiva 🌀🌝🌝

Both are famous in balkeshwar and you can easily get transportation to got there and to return .
