The Grand Legacy Resort and Spa

Excellent experience while on vacation during year end. The food is awesome, never had any complains. The service by staff and kind behavior is specialty. I was at Star room and the sunset view is the best. My family had good experience.

We stayed at this hotel for the first time.
This is a pure vegetarian hotel so it attracted us to stay. Hotel is on Mahabaleshwar – Panchgini road towards veena lake. Hotel road from main road is steep up so difficult to walk up hill with luggage.
As soon as you enter the gate, huge structure welcomes you. Reception is on few steps up. Whole thing looks very beautiful and, in the night, they do good lighting.
Hotel lady was following up with us 2 days before for any requirement and also in touch with us on the day of arrival if we need any help on the way or location. This is a good gesture form hotel.
Our check-in was very smooth and room was also ready. We stayed in Grand room. Room was quite spacious and up to 2 extra beds can be accommodated easily. There is no view as rooms are in the building (they have lift). They have some other rooms also where you get valley, garden etc view. We have not tried it. Room was having all the required facility with tea-coffee kettle. Bed is quite large. Bathroom was spacious but there was no curtain so whole bathroom get wet while bathing.
They have a pool may be around 18 inches to 24 inch deep. Games room, where they keep competition also. In the evening, they keep some activities to keep you busy like, games, magic show, karaoke etc. They have a beautiful spa. Try that.
They have huge dining hall. Food is very good. They have lot of varieties in the breakfast and due to health issue, if you have any particular requirement, they are ready to help. In the evening at dinner time, they have buffet and there is live singing also. Singer on karaoke sing beautiful songs. We were used to sit till end after dinner also. We appreciate chef for preparing these tasty dishes. They serve Jain food also.
There service is also quite prompt. All were ready to help on request.
Outside the dining room there is lot of spaces to seat and chit-chat till late in the evening. Big groups can enjoy there.
During checkout, they have given water bottle and cake for you back journey.
Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

We went there for a family dinner at their restaurant. The service and food were excellent. My family member was on wheelchair. They don’t have wheelchair accessible places but the staff was too helpful to help him around to reach the restaurant. Thank you for hosting me & my family.

A great resort for relaxation and a weekend getaway. Food is good; staff is friendly; swimming pool is small; view is great. Stayed in a tent room; nice valley nd mountain view. Overall 4/5 rating..

I stayed at this property for my vacation during 20Nov23 to 24Nov23 with my wife and 2 kids. I choose the lawn view tent room with all meals included. It was a great deal, too.

About the Room: The room was comfortable and enough for the family of 4. They have a king bed and a sofa cum bed in the room. That makes stay very comfortable for family of 4 people. The only thing lacking is hot water missing in wash basin. Also, the hot water is not available during 00:00 to 06:00 hours. May be that is something that need to be improved.

Food at four elements restaurant: Food is great and in abundance. In breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are ample options for food items. Jain food is available, too. Since it is pure vegetarian resort it's peace of mind for vegetarian people and Jain people. I had to stop my kids(who make me beg them to eat) to eat too much as they loved the food. The resort does not serve alcohol and discourage consumption of it. That makes the place safe for family. Only good people with family come due to this restrictions. So, that makes the property safe and secure.

Some improvement and upgrade can make them irresistible:
1. They need to have a hot water pool or an Indoor pool as Mahabaleshwar is comparatively cold place and the current swimming pool water can get very cold. The pool is not so deep. So it is very safe for all.

2. They need to install few swings (for adults)in the lawn area where they can relax and enjoy the view.

3. 24×7 hot water availability in bathrooms

4. Some plumbing need to upgrade to provide the hot water in wash basins.

5. Kids play area is ok. But, it can be expanded.

6. They should provide RO water along with packaged drinking water. So, the plastic waste and the cost can be minimized. Going green is very important on hill stations.

Overall, I can easily recommend this place to my friends and family. Pure vegetarian and no alcohol are the best things they have in their policy. Staff was friendly and cooperative.

One of the best resorts with a nice view..you will find everything you need..activities for all ages. The hotel staff and management assist you well..The food is very good..I am absolutely sure that you can have a good weekend or good time here..with friends, family and your loved ones..

Awesome experience with Good food, we preferred Pure veg resort which is USP of this resort. Only thing I felt, Kids Play area had limited utilities, you may plan to have a Indoor play room for Kids too. Otherwise, the hospitality was top notch and we got really Good support from Kondiba who helped us prepare food for my little son. And I am thankful to Swapnil More without support of whom this experience was not possible.

Very pleased with all services given by very corteous stafg beginning from reception, Sabita, Swapnil and othrrs including security housekeeping.
And how can i not mention about very good food on breakfast n dinner. Excellent choice n taste of food. Above all very corteous n kitchen team lead by manager. Very very happy and will surely recommend to others.

We were two couples with two kids each for two nights
The location and the exterior interior of resort is superb
We booked elegant room but we got an upgrade to elegant classic room and got to use the aqua private pool which made the stay super luxurios
The food and service is awesome.Both breakfast and dinner spread was so good specially jain food both indian and continental and each and enerything served fresh and hot.Each and every staff is so hardworking and so mannnered and helped us out of the way specially with my special child
We had a guitar activity and dj which made the day engaging
We took the spa and it was so relaxing

I would highly recommend the resort 200percent.
Just book it each and they will make every penny of yours worth it.

We had great time in TGL.. staffs are sooo helpful & cooperative. Food is amazing with lots of verities .Property is very beautiful. Very good place for family. Thank you TGL for making our vacation pleasant & memorable.

Vegetarian Paradise. Food is what brings me to the resort again and again. This was my third stay with them and I have always been happy with the humble staff, good rooms, great food, nice location.

The hotel has a beautiful view of a valley from garden area. You can think about it for monsoon staycation. They have various stay options like tents etc. Hotel food is also good.They must work on water supply of bathroom flush. It will be better if you’ll start provide mineral water in reusable glass water in rooms. It will save your surrounding. I have attached pictures for reference how some idiots have thrown plastic.

A very good experience. Staff is humble and ready to help, property is well maintained, you have ample options in the buffet for kids as well as adults, swimming pool is well maintained. I would surely recommend this property.

One thing which I wish to highlight is that I had a 1.5 year old with me and his meals could not be requested. Not a complain but would have helped us to have a longer stay.

Best place to visit for pure veg in mahabaleshwar and specially jain food. Staff is very courteous and friendly.

I reserved an exotica room here. Except for the jacuzzi, which was not well maintained, the rooms were nicely cleaned and maintained. Aside from that, the overall  experience was fantastic. Warm welcome drinks, efficient  customer service, and room service are all available. The finest part of our entire vacation was the buffet cuisine  that was included in our package. It was  delightful and fresh. There is a spa, swimming pool, playing room, parking space, and karaoke dj room nearby. You may watch the sunset from the hotel's gorgeous lawn area. Overall, it is a wonderful value  if you are seeking in that area.
