Mhatre Hospital. There is lot to say about this hospital. Just now my pleural effusion surgery was done here. I share this experience with you. I came to know about this illness on Monday 13/03/2023. For the past month, I was constantly having fever but could not understand the exact reason for the fever. I went to many doctors but the fever was not going away. Finally on Monday I went to Sachin Naik doctor who asked me to do some tests and found out that there was pleural effusion. He suggested me to go to Mhatre Hospital.
Accordingly, I went to the hospital on Tuesday. There Dr. Met Vivek Singh. He advised me to take admission. I got admitted here on Wednesday i.e. 15 March 2023. Everyone from the receptionist helped a lot during admission. Went to ICU ward. The nursing staff there is very humble. He asked the ward boy to prepare a bed for me. The ward boy immediately arranged bed number 3 for me and took me to the bed himself.
Nurses and RMOs were constantly rounding up in 2 hours. My surgery was between 12pm and 1pm. When I woke up at 4am, Dr Vivek Singh himself came and examined me. Whatever I needed was brought to me by the nursing staff there. Here are some rules for ICU room which are strictly followed here. For example, the visiting hours of relatives are 12 noon to 1 pm and 5 pm to 6 pm, relatives cannot come and meet at other times.Also, you can enter the ICU only by wearing a mask, otherwise you cannot enter, and a relative is outside the ICU with the patient, only he allow to came inside if patient needs something. he can come in and give food and snacks to the patient at the time of serving food and snacks.
Especially the RMOs here are very nice, they tend to remove the tension on the patient's face, they bring happiness to the patient's face with their sweet voice, they care more about how the patient will feel happy, how the patient will recover quickly (special mention to Dr Kiran sir & dr suvidha madam). (These two are really warm and friendly, I felt like I was chatting with my best friend.)
Mhatre sir & madam also come for round up and inquire about patients. Everyone here takes care of the patients as if they are their relatives. We are cared for here with more affection than if a person in the house falls ill and serves him.
Thank you very much to all the ward boys, aunts, nursing staff, RMO doctors, I realized that this is not really a hospital but a home when I came here. I was discharged yesterday. I thank you all very much.
