Perfect place to enjoy the serene nature. The bungalow has a lovely view of the surrounding mountain peaks. It is a beautiful property with lots of various trees and plants which are fruit, vegetable and flower bearing. The chef Pathrose cooks delicious food. Sajan, Krishnan and Pathrose are very helpful and considerate. Must visit place.

This place is a blend of nature, scenic beauty & hospitality. This is my vacation after a long 2.5 yrs and wanted to get away from all the hustle, bustle and go to a quiet, calm place. I was bit skeptical and after arriving, all my doubts went away with the kind gesture of Mr. Sajjan and Patrose who is taking care of this place. They will make you feel home and ensure safety. Food Mr. Patrose prepares is just amazing, they have well equipped kitchen offering good options. Separate kitchens for veg and non veg.
Coming to the property, it is quite reachable from the city and nearby attractions, didn't feel we were distant. It has a beautiful estate, flowers, birds chirping all the time, and a mind-blowing view of the chembra peak hill from the terrace . Interiors of the property is also top notch, you have to visit to gaze through some of the legacy artifacts, pictures etc.
Overall a very satisfying experience, recommend to family and friends, I was there with 3 small kids and felt almost like home.

The place is bigger than the pictures, and they have a balcony with a wonderful view. The hosts are sweet and helpful and the cook is extremely sweet. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Camellia home stay is a wonderful place amidst serene and beautiful surroundings. We were amazed to see the interior of the house complete with furnishings, paintings, beautiful crockery, curios, family photographs and even good books to read. The food cooked by Pathrose was very tasty and it was served in style in fancy dishes. There was a new item for breakfast everyday. Pathrose never gave us even a glass of water without a tray and a tray cloth! The garden is a feast for the eyes with a variety of flowering plants. The room and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed.

This is a wonderfully tranquil and peaceful place. We enjoyed it so much, including the casual chats with all involved. According to our preference the cook Patrose prepared such lovely meals. Much appreciated!

The food prepared by Pathrose was all simply delicious!!!
We decided on menu for each meal for the 2 days and everything was superb ..
So tasty and homely .. not like commercially made .. see the movie Thumse na ho payega to know the difference of what we mean !!

This place is bliss. The food was fab. Mrs & Mr. Dharmaraj the owners of this beautiful and fully green estate are extremely hospitable, affectionate and friendly. I'm glad they allow guests into their beautiful home so we lesser mortals can enjoy the lifestyle of the rich and famous. Chambra lake which is heart shaped is a stones throw away but of course you've to trek up there. I'm going back to enjoy their hospitality again during the monsoon. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. Don't miss this spot.

A perfect getaway for me. The food and hospitality of the staff were so amazing. Such a homely touch with all the aesthetics in the property. And the balcony view is so breathtaking, direct view of the Chembra Hills. Honestly one of the best experiences of my life. Definitely visiting again ✨

The perfect place to breakaway from the busy city and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

It’s a tastefully constructed homestay in the middle of their estate facing the mighty Chembra peak. Interesting interiors and great service. We stayed here for 2 days and 3 nights and just enjoyed the hospitality and view on the second day. The caretakers are very sweet and Pathrose, one of the cooks has over 40 years of experience and makes the most delicious meals and the manager was also very kind to ensure everything was okay! We went sightseeing on day 1 and chilled in the homestay on day 2. It was a great holiday.

Homely stay with excellent homemade meals prepared. Spacious rooms with all the necessary amenities.

People are friendly and the view is amazing. The rooms are facilitated well.

Camellia is the perfect destination for a Holiday. We spent our Diwali Vacation 2022 here. The ambience, Location, vibe, hospitality is far beyond the imagination. I liked the Garden how they maintained. The Organic food ..can't explain much.
I can imagine viewing hills from the Balcony only in my dreams. It is a perfect Homestay in all the sense. Chef Pathrose Chetan and Krishnan Chetan who keeps the homestay tidy and warmth attended us whenever there is a need. Kudos to Sajan who booked this place for us and guided us .

2july - 4 july — We stayed here for 2 days and had the best experience of our lives. The ambience, vibe , hospitality is far beyond imagination. The food we had was core kerala style and home cooked by a cook called patros. We have had the best chicken and fish of our lives. The vegetables were home grown. The hospitality you will get here is awesome. Anytime you wish to visit waynad- you should visit here for an awesome awesome stay.
