THAFF Delicacy Restaurant YMCA Alappuzha

We went to this restaurant 3 times in 2 days on our kerala trip! We tried different kinds of fish preparations and local food. Traditional kerala dishes like pathiri, karimeen pulichattu, karimeen fry, fish curry with rice, everything was very tasty.

Excellent place for lunch or dinner if you’re in the area. Or if you’re bored with eating in your hotel! Wide range of fish dishes, different fish and different styles(not every kind of fish is going to be available obviously!). Tip top tomato fry! Very good juices and lime sodas. And cheap prices for the location. Our waiter was extremely friendly. Decor needs smartening up perhaps, but that’s a minor issue.

Visited the restaurant after seeing the reviews on Google. It exceeded my expectations we tried prawns fry, chicken chettinadu and pepper chicken along with parotta. All the items were tasty and the pricing was also not too high.
If you are a tourist and want to try the local fishes and local cuisine, this is the place to visit. It gets quite busy and you might have to wait. They also deliver the food.

One of the best sea food restaurant in alappuzha. Ample seatings, family section and parking. tastes Delicious, Yummy.
And also you can have full unlimited rice/meals for very minimal amount.Their delivery is also good. It's pretty fast

Fabulous food! We shared a fantastic dragon chicken, butter chicken, veg rice and a paratha. All excellent. I find Western butter chicken just sickly sweet, but the depth of flavour in this dish was amazing!

We were lucky to be there a little bit earlier than the local lunch time because when we were finishing (1.30), the restaurant was absolutely packed and they were several people waiting for seats.

It looked like an upmarket expensive restaurant from outside, but the price was surprisingly affordable. We had the plain rice thali and the portion was huge. There were also many more side dishes than all the previous lunch meals that we have. There was even a clam side dish. All side dishes tasted great. There was also a dessert in the lunch meal. I believe it was Payasam. Anyway, it was amazing. The fish curry comes with a fish fillet not just some curry pouring on top with small pieces. In short, it was the best lunch meal that we had during our trip across 5 different cities in Kerela.

The service was great, fast and efficient. The waiter was really helpful in explaining all the dishes to us.

The value for money of the lunch meal was astounding given the quality of food, the service and the upmarket atmosphere.

I would highly recommend visitors to ALAPPUZHA to try the lunch meal here at least once. They have veg option too.

There are places where you pay and go for the ambience and there are these kind of places which can beat any 5 star hotel when it comes to taste and service...try kingfish masala,prawns masala fry...they are awesome, Their delivery is also good. It's pretty fast

Had lunch and dinner here at this restaurant. The food served was quite delicious. Had an overall nice experience.

I thought i posted long ago… no pictures because the food was gone too fast… we come here all the time when we are in Alleppey. Always amazing food and good prices too. So happy to have more Thaff in my life again ❤

The place was well maintained and the ppl there were very polite. A slight delay was there due to busy day as it was cristmas week (25th dec 2021). Food was awesome. 1 request though - plz dont mix soth n north dish the taste becomes weird for ppl coming from THE NORTH (pun intended). Overall loveeed the experience.

The food was good. The ambience was good too.
Good is not very expensive.
The flavours are appropriate.

Enjoyed the authentic kerela veg meal, they provide fast service, and it's all clean. Lot of rush when we went, so there can be some waiting time on busy days, but that means it's also very much in demand.

One of the best hotel group in Alleppey. Tried chicken biryani from here. 2 pieces of chicken, one fried and one non fried piece of chicken is served with biriyani rice, Pappadam, pickle, salad .
They charged 200/- for chicken biryani. Biriyani was good in taste. There is no parking space.

One of the best hygienic restaurant, and also the best tasty food, value for money

If you are craving for some delicious Non-Veg dish, then this would be the perfect place for you.
Thaff restaurant located in Alleppey is a wonderful place with a good ambience.

We had some delicious Prawns Masala (my favourite), Chicken roast, Paneer butter masala and paneer 65.

A must visit place for all the foodies out there.

I had fish meals with plain rice and karimeen fry. Both are very tasty. Hotel is having good ambiance and fast serving.

Good portion size & reasonable price. Highly recommend this place to try. Service & ambience were good.
