Punnamada Resort

We were 8 people including 5 Americans. Enjoyed our stay here. The resort had a free Shikara boat ride in the evening which was good. The Ayurveda centre offered excellent massages. Would recommend a stay here.

I booked it directly with the hotel & there was some confusion regarding the prices quoted earlier & then it was revised but overall it was sorted. They upgraded my room for the same price
It's a quaint resort & located just by the lake as the name says. It is a beautiful property with amazing lake view restaurant. The service & staff are very good & always helpful.
If you are expecting a 5 star kind of treatment then sorry this ain't the place you should stay. As already said it's like a heritage resort with rooms having Kerala style decor & a old quaint look to It.
Since it's located lake side so there are some insects around but tbh it wasn't much of an issue as the beauty of this place compensates for everything. The food tastes real good. The chef himself takes care of guests & gives personal attention.

The property is beautiful. It's located on the lovely punnammada backwaters. The furnishing is done in a way that it gives it a vintage look. The food is decent and the staff is polite. If you want to laze around band have a relaxed holiday, it's the perfect place to be in.

Great place to stay and relax. I love the views here, I also really liked the room, it is very comfortable. The food at the resort is very tasty, I enjoyed my holiday here, thank you very much to the resort staff for this

Our family friends visited from the UK and its their first time in South India...Kerala was the first South Indian State that was recommended to them to visit...a visit to Kerala is never complete without experiencing the backwaters, the lakes and of course the boat house experience ..I am so happy that the Punnamada Resort was the place we choose for them...Anu and Team were amazing and the hospitality was out of this world to make their stay enjoyable and comfortable..
They really didn't want to go back..our heart-felt thanks from the whole family to the entire Team ..until next time...and can't wait to be back...God bless you all!! 🤗🙏❤

They had the best times of their lives.

We availed one night Houseboat and took dinner at their restaurant. Great service and hospitality. One of our most memorable trips ever.

A very nice resort. Good food and not too far away from Alappuzha city centre. The lake view is perfect.

Amazing experience.visited more than once.Nice place for wedding functions and any kind of events.The staff is courteous.The room was well maintained so is their washroom. Must recommend resorts in Alappuzha

Chef Mithun and his team was excellent.

The approach roads are narrow and in bad shape. The property has a good lake view. The food is good too.

Their restaurant is at the back of this hotel overlooking punnamada lake with magnificent lawns. One can enjoy the greenery and beauty of the lake while sipping a cup of tea. The hotel is not in an easily accessible location, as the road leading to it is narrow.

Friendly staff, prompt service, property maintained very well, great backwaters cruise, homely food. Will definitely visit again.

Had a great experience! The hotel was very quiet and you felt like the only person in the resort. Food was fantastic, they were able to cater to vegan requirements. We rented a 3 hour house boat for sunset and it was so good. Service was also on point. Many activities to fill your time like sports games center, ayurvedic center and pool

Very beautiful, peaceful and calm place. Hardly reccomend.
