An excellent venture into the inner workings and the effort involved in the coffee industry and especially Panduranga Coffee. It was highly illuminating and showcased the high quality work involved in the making of South Indian Filter Coffee. Highly recommended.

My dad used to buy Panduranga coffee when we were kids back in 1960s. I revisited this coffee after returning from abroad. I buy Grand Aroma (pure arabica, without chicory). Excellent coffee at 470/- for half a Kg. If you use espresso machine, do not forget to ask for espresso grind , else you will get standard filter coffee grind. I trust these local players better than international labels available on shopping sites. Most of them are not good, or would have aged on the shop shelf.

Deepak garu is helpful in nature. He just amazing at the Panduranga coffee. The service and quality of their coffee is something astonishing. Everyone has to visit personally and check that.

I am from Delhi NCR and am in quest to experience the best in coffee, and serve in my cafe. I have experiences almost all available in north India, however it all comes from various parts and difficulty to find fresh roast. Indian being one of the largest exported of Coffee and excited to know about Baba Budangiri, I wanted to visit Chikkamagalur. To start, I started looking for best of the best in Chikkamagalur and Panduranga Coffee topped the chart. There are one of the oldest and biggest in business. I wrote to them and got reply from Mr. Deepak. We spoke and Mr. Deepak gave some priceless advice and suggest that I should try Mysore Nuggets & Happy Day as of their best, especially coffee.

I got the coffee and tried Happy Day first. I could not believe my senses as it the best coffee I have experiences. I say, it is not a coffee but a dessert to be savored. A perfect blend of aroma, acidity and body.

This was followed by Mysore Nuggets, which is 100% Arabica. As the name suggest, the beans are actually like nuggets. Medium roast, and mild. Best enjoyed black or grind a bit fine to extract a bit more to enjoy half-n-half. One of the finest Arabica indeed,

This shop serves the best quality locally ground filter coffee in Chikmagaluru. The owner allowed me to visit the machines where the coffee beans are being roasted and ground. There are three types of filter coffee available in the premium segment. 1. 90% coffee, 10% Chikori (Light coffee, not bitter), 2. 80% coffee, 20% chikori (Medium bitter), 3. 70% coffee, 30% chikori (Highly bitter). So make your choice according to your needs. You can also get instant coffee and coffee liquid. However, this shop also sells flavoured instant coffee. You can buy them but be informed that these flavoured instant coffee bottles are imported from the UK. Hence those are not home grown.

Overall, one of the best coffee sellers in Chikmagaluru.

We switched over to Panduranga coffee five years back. Easy to book order and delivery always in time,  perfectly packed. Best quality and price is cheapest compared to any other brand online. Pa dutanga has become part of our family!

Have been following Kripal Amanna YouTube page for my south india road trip. Panduranga coffee was on my list, hesitant at first since buying coffee ☕ can go wrong at times. Staff were very helpful with selecting the perfect blend and aroma to suit my palate.
My son wanted to know the process of how coffee is made and Mr. Deepak was kind enough to let us walk around the production house and it was very educating. He is a gem of a person and if you meet him do feel free to strike a small conversation with him.
Parking can be difficult on MG road so plz plan your trip accordingly.

It's great to learn how coffee enters India and also now continue being a vast industry.
