Want to see how crocodiles are hatched. Have a visit to the place. This place also have so nature camps run by forest department. A riverside resort with nature will definitely win your heart. This place is also a picnic spot for local people. On opposite side of the river you will also find a temple which adds to the beauty of this place.

It is also famous for religious aspect because of Lord Rama and Maa Sita's seating place and foot mark available on the Rock surface in the Khiri - Bhandan river bank. You ll Find Crocodile in Captive condition
If we can teach people about wildlife, they will be touched. Share my wildlife with me. Because humans want to save things that they love.
That's what people do when they find a special place that wild and full of life, they trample it to death.

Ramatirtha is located nearby Jashipur town of Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. Ramatirtha is located beneath the feet of Similipal National Park. It is the only Crocodile Rearing Center of Mayurbhanj district which attracts lots of tourist to visit. Mayurbhanj district is fully sheltered with vast natural resources and exquisites, that attracts lacs of tourist every year. In 1979, govt of Odisha first planned to nurture crocodiles in the rivers of Similipal forest; for which 115 crocodile babies were brought from Tamilnadu Crocodile Bank. In between 1984 to 1987, 1517 nos. of crocodile eggs has been collected. On 1988, 12 baby crocodiles were brought from Nandankanan Zoological Park, Bhubaneswar. The crocodiles kept at Ramatirtha of Mayurbhanj are very exceptional kind; which called as 'Mugger Crocodiles' (Crocodylus palustris). 'Mugger' is the corrupted word, derived from sanskrit word 'Makara' which means 'water monster'.

The Ramatirtha center, meant for Mugger crocodiles, initially started with eggs and juveniles of Mugger procured from Tamilnadu. Since 1984 breeding of Muggers and the release of young ones into the nature in Similipal have been carried out, and so far more than 600 crocodiles have been released in Similipal. Census was conducted to ascertain the population status of Mugger crocodiles in the prominent rivers/waterbodies inside the Similipal.
