Biggest deep density forest, so make sure u hv to reach the place bfr 6AM, if u want to cover all things. There r 2 entry gate, 1 is Pithabata, baripada side & 2nd is Kalikaprasad, Jashipur side. U can book entry gate ticket thru online. If u want to go jashipur side, the official/online ticket counter is just near Highway side bfr jashipur, u hv to show ur ticket there then move towards jashipur town then turn right to kalikaprasad entry gate, whc around 18km from ticket counter. Remember kalikaprasad gate location is not available on gmap, better u hv to ask to localities. IMP - 1- Try to reach bfr 6am. 2- Make sure book ur vehicle whc has more than 180 mm ground clearance, don't ever thing sedan & hatchback bcz the road conditions is very bad inside forest with full of red soil, big stones, ghats & high humps (preferable creta, breeze, thar, fortuner, bolero, tavera). 3- U can book vehicle thru online as well as offline @ counter with guide which 4000 + 400 charge. 4 - No will ask u abt drone, camera anything @ entry gate. 5- U can eat inside forest & its available inside forest. 6- Don't take alcohol bcz there r so many guards are inside forest in different places. 7- Try to spend some moments with adivasi people z& try to listen nature calmness. 8- 100/person, 100/vehicle. 9- Don't get down from car where no signboard bcz many wild animals roaming anywhere. 10- Try to exit bfr 7PM bcz there is no electricity inside forest only solar lights. 11- Chahala point is the only tiger sight seen point, bt its depend upon ur luck.

Must see place ...but go if ur back is alright ..bad roads as expected and it should be like that only ...120kms in one day not advisable ...make a point to stay inside ...barehipani location . Animal sighting is rare ...but they can't let u into core area as such ..

Note- you must to buy entry tickets, food, cottege by online on advance to avail the facility...you must have to bring your suv vehicle , small cars not allowed inside forest,you must have to take a guide with you... otherwise local people and no one will help you inside forest,you will miss important visiting places.without guide finding direction is not possible as no telephone network available.then you must have to get your vehicle permit in khairi gate and you have to enter in guduma gate.Have a pleasant trip

Similipal jungle is beautiful and naturefull and big big waterfall so all pepole he has going in November 1st to April 30 in going to jungle so big moutain and big waterfall in resorts on available in jungale ..small water fall in jungle fullfil masti time to similipal jungle.
important-these jungle rulese is very dangerfull so care full in so forest dempt.rulese in 4 check piont in into checking in 4 wheeler but not allowed in all model 4 wheeler forests officer he has permission veey important so 1 day in jungles in rounds so 6 am to 9 am he has entry gate so foods in very important in not avilelabel food in jungle so care fully going these jungal and not network available in similipal jungale

Couldn't sight tigers but the trip was worth the pain. If you wish to experience the jungle, stay at Gurguria or Ananya Niwas. Rest stays are well maintained too.

My childhood wish to visit khairi house it was great experience to be thr. Khairi was the tigress of Jashipur. She made the forest famous. Mr. Saroj Raj Chowdhury named the cub “Khairi” after the river from where she was found. The Jashipur forest bungalow became her new home. Khairi grew up as a part of Chowdhury's household.
