Muscatel Delamare - 200 Mts from MG Marg

Very good rooms, to be honest I found this hotel on make my trip , the views ,stays and staff all are very gentle, discipline and never said no for anything, even during night they helps a lot for extra blanket.best hotel and staff,I will visit again. Very happy to stay there. #room202 is too good for a decent view.one review, balcony should have chairs for seating.

We booked the hotel delamare central for our large family group tour, we had an amazing stay over there, although the rooms are little dark and cold but it spacious, cozy and comfortable equipped with all necessary amenities. Services were excellent we would like to specially thank Ms Pema Sherpa for her excellent cooperation and polite behaviour. We would love to stay at this property again 👍

This was great experience to stay at Muscatel Delamare. Specially Mr. Deepak from front desk was so helpful. They gave me super Deluxe room instead Deluxe room as i have checked in 3 hours earlier. I would highly recommend Muscatel Delamare

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay in Gangtok. The popular MG Market is nearby and the area is very clean. Service boys are very polite. Rooms are great. We booked studio rooms at 2000 Rs per night during (September 2023). Overall a great place to stay

Home away from home.
Staffs were so kind & friendly, specially pema, Bimal and other staffs in the reception.We really had a great stay at this property. I have to say this is the best hotel in MG road area.

I must say that it has been awesome experience staying on this property hardly 200-300 Mtr from MG Marg & Rooms & Washrooms were properly sanitized. All electronic sockets & lights were working. Hospitality provide *Ajoy Tomang* was wonderful. We reached late night when Hotels restaurant was closed but this kind hearted person went to the city to buy some food for us.

Worth a visit if you are in gangtok.
The Kanchenjunga view rooms are just add to everything this place has to offer.
I would definitely keep coming here.

It was a amusing stay in this hotel totally worth my budget. I'll recommend this hotel to all my companion. Especially hotel staff and services are too excellent. Well behaved staff delicious food and breakfast were also too good. Rooms were well clean and organized it was vast and solace. Location is also good it is situated below mg marg. marg is something 400m far from there. This hotel is actually situated in the middle of the city. It will be a good to stay in it if you want to explore gangtok

It's situated just at walking distance from mg road and hotel seems well maintained and organized. Staff are polite and very warm in welcoming.
Most room don't have good view and windows open mostly to some building. It's good option if someone wants to stay for just a night

It was a really nice stay at Muscatel Delamare. We stayed there for 3 days and it felt like home. The staff was very caring and helpful.
Rooms were neat and clean.
Location is good, it's walkable to MG road.
It's a very budgeted hotel.

Excellent property. The rooms are very well maintained, the staff is courteous, the restaurant serves very good food (their Sikkimese Noodle Soup is just yum). The location is very close to MG Marg. However, you will have to climb a flight of steps for to reach there, so, it may be difficult for the elderly. Very happy with my stay, and would highly recommend if you are looking for a quality hotel in Gangtok.

Everything is clean, staff is extremely well trained, room service is great. Rooms are big, and comfortable. Bathroom is nicely maintained. Ms Divya is extremely polite and helpful and guided us properly about the nearby places to visit and also made our Stay much comfortable.

Is budget friendly and even the staff are good and helpful.

Food was also available and also alcohol/drinks are served in the hotel. Overall it was a great stay in Gangtok and the best part is that it is only 5mins walking distance from MG Marg.

The Hotel has a really good location. Mg marg about 350 meters from the hotel. But you have to climb a huge set of stairs. The rooms are decent for the price. Go for deluxe room if you have 2 guests and super deluxe for 3 guests. The manager at night was very helpful. Good restaurants at a walking distance.

We stayed here recently for 2 nights from 22 October to 24 October 2022 at the suite room.

Peaceful area. Nice ambience with a beautiful reception area. It's very neat and clean.... Room was very spacious. Very big room with a separate area for sitting on lounge sofa for relaxing. Mr. Ashim is the best executive. He was very helpful and always ready to help with a big smile on his face. There was a problem in the lock system of the main door of our room and Mr. Ashim made sure to get a locksmith immediately and got it repaired.
All the staff members were very polite and helpful.
Anyone booking your stay in this place can for sure reach out to Mr. Ashim. Always....Always ready to reach out to help you and make your stay comfortable.

Also, this place is very close to Mall Road. Walkable distance.
We totally loved our stay here. The food was too good. A special thanks to the staff in the dining place who served us yummy aloo parathas and hot cup of tea for our breakfast. Highly satisfied with our stay in Muscatel Delamere.

Rooms were clean and food items were good too. The Hotel staff specially Bhawana & Saroj are awesome. They helped us in all manner and were very polite & professional.
The hotel location is very near to mg road. I would definitely recommend it for family/friends/solo trip.

I just loved everything of this hotel. From staff to rooms, view, food, location everything was perfect. All the staff are very friendly and helpful specially Asim, Roshan, Divya and Poonam from front desk.
About Rooms, we have booked 1 Attic and 1 Deluxe room. Attic is the duplex room with a great view, Deluxe has window but doesn't have mountain view. Attic room is quite huge with bathtub in the bathroom and a big balcony with a view. Deluxe rooms is also very spacious. They have all the basic room amenities.
About the food, those who like home cooked food would love the food. However they doesn't have so many options. Those who like spicy oily food would not like it.
About the location, Both the Lal Bazaar and MG road is at a walking distance of 7-10 minutes. However the road is little steep but if you are going to any mountain destination you have to walk on the steep road. You cant get a plain road.
About the cleanliness, hotel and the surrounding area is very neat and clean.

Note: Hotel doesn't have lift but as its a 4 storey hotel and all the attic rooms are in the top floor there won't be any issue to climbing the stairs may be because of the fresh air we didn't felt tired. Please note, in Gangtok even most of the hotels even 4 star hotels doesn't have lift.

I will definitely recommend this hotel even to those who are looking for a basic 4 star hotel. I will definitely book this hotel if I go to Gangtok in future.
