Paljor Stadium

The Paljor Stadium, originally known as Palzor Stadium was initially built to serve as a Polo ground. But after the Independence, it was converted to a football stadium. The stadium is currently home to United Sikkim Football Club and has a seating capacity of 25,000 people! 2001 saw the stadium grow to its best as it embraced modern amenities and included a VIP section, Hostel accommodation and an indoor Basketball hall among many other additions. And it is also said to be the largest stadium in Gangtok. Today the stadium has become an important venue for not only hosting sports but also for conducting public meetings and other important social events. The stadium is best experienced during a home-team match when the whole place echoes the cheers of the fans.

This is a place which totally unites Sikkim. Palzor stadium is a football stadium located at the heart of the city. Its is also a top tourist attraction in the city.
The stadium holds 30,000 people.

Located in the lap of hills. Small stadium but good seating arrangement. Established in 2005. Very beautiful football stadium. Nice to see the boys play in large numbers even small children can be seen to play football.

This place is located a midst of the hill town. Early morning visit is must for a tourist its only 10- 15 mins walk from MG Marg.This place will revitialize you and make you feel how much we miss in the hustle and bustle of city life. Clouds floating over the stadium and with colourflul jersey's all across the stadium gives such a great feeling within. The stadium is well mainatined and then track pants and T shirts are must for entry. Football is the key sports played. When I saw girls playing in the ground, I just wished if i ever got this opportunty ever before. Best part of the stadium was - its cleanliness. EVerywhere its written - its your property, help us in keeping it clean.

It's good to see such interest in sports all over India. The stadium is always packed with passionate players practicing their lives out. The ground is well maintained. The seats are however not so good and there are many broken seats.

As local we went there when there was a program by the Chief minister or football match. It's beautiful through from my side it's near from MG mark. If you found of football you can visit here too.

Incredible small football stadium on the slopes of Gangtok. Baichung Bhutia footballer is from this awesome hilly hamlet of India.

It's a very nice stadium in the lap of the hills in Gangtok. It is very well maintained, very neat and clean. We spent here almost an hour in one morning during our last visit to Gangtok. Many local people of different age come here wearing their football jerseys and practice here in many groups. There is a very nice gallery also.

Very nice stadiums... One of the most beautiful stadium on this hight. The atmosphere is here always live and fresh. The stands were also very nice and clean. Very pleased by visit here. One of best maintained football stadium of the county.

There is no entry ticket and you can join the local kids and enjoy playing football with them.
