Taxi Stand For North Sikkim

My review would not be on the taxi stand! A taxi stand is a taxi stand! Lmao! What caught my attention was the well-maintained bathrooms, with water & soap! This is the cleanest public washroom i have used anywhere in India. Basic facilities is great but great maintenance is what makes the washrooms habitable and clean. I truly appreciate the hardwork and dedication.

Good spot for taking a cab but try to get a smaller one if you want to get to your destination on time and with ease otherwise shared cabs like Sumo, Bolero, or Maxx takes approximately 2 hours to fill and you will not feel much accommodated in those vehicles

It is one of the famous taxi stand from where you can go everywhere in Sikkim.

Never book a trip via an agent/agency to North Sikkim. All trips to Lachen/Lachung are cheaper and much more transparent when you deal directly with drivers, and this is a good place to do it.

There is no question about the skills of the drivers here. Talk to them for the permit as well as the trip details. Good place for all Lachen/Lachung trips.

Place is good and it's very easy to find the proper stand to visit the place.

This is a starting point where you have to hire a car. All the drivers are well trained to drive on mountain as the way of mountain is narrow and a number of turns can't see long distance. So, after completing your tour feel amazing.

This place is located at Vajra , 3 Km from Gangtok Town, where you can get all the vechile for North Sikkim, Any tourist can come and book their vehicles for your to North Sikkim, Tsongmo Lake, many places (it will connect many villages in East Sikkim too)

Also, you will get good hotels, Restaurant, and Vajra World ( Mall) where you get all the necessary shopping items in cheap rate.

Whereas, you can grab a good Sikkimese food in here

Very neat and clean taxi stand with clean restrooms. It's very amazing to see systematic parking and very patient drivers.. one doesn't get to see the normal crowded and irritating drivers here..very calm and systematic.

Well sattled/decorated taxi stand for North Sikkim... Departure to 0 points at 11hrs taken 7hours to Lachung... Fare from Gangtok' to 0 point 1500 approx per head..

Very busy & important place for tourist as long tour vehicles are gathered & booked from here

You can get shared taxi for Nathula pass, Baba mandir, changu lake but don't expect choice of seats in shared taxi

Rides to North Sikkim are available at reasonable fare. Tata Sumos, Scorpios and Boleros are the usual vehicles here. You can reserve as well as share depending on your choices.

Permission for north sikkim, east sikkim is availed here. Share available. Avg time to start is around 10 am. Try to start early. Best time. 9.30 am if in share. Or in full booked cab also 9.30 am is the best time.
