Montis Soyang Premium Heritage Hotel

This is like a heritage building with wooden decoration, stairs, staircase. Ambience is marvelous. The room allotted to me was extremely clean and well kept. The dining can compete with any popular famous restaurant in ambience, decoration, polite service and taste of the food. Rooms are in many floors, the stairs are easily accessible.

Awesome hotel to stay in Gangtok. It's in M.G. Marg, food is really awesome. The restaurant attends to your special needs if you are traveling in a group. The rooms are quite spacious and the staff is really good and helpful. They tend to attend to your needs. The beds are cozy and warm.

Excellent hotel with excellent location , clean & comfortable. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Mr. Pratik Sharma was extremely courteous and made all necessary arrangements for our sight seeing . The staff were very friendly and helpful . Not to forget, excellent food with variety of options. Great hotel with pretty rooms filled with local artifacts and wooden insulted walls.
The locatio nis close to MG Marg and other important areas.
Though the way to reach there is pretty steep.
The complimentary breakfast is okay.
Usually not very crowded.
Ample parking space inside the hotel premises.

I would say the hotel was a touch of Buddhist art and architecture. I have travelled across Sikkim and this Hotel also comes in for one of the best on the list with excellent services.
I have stayed there twice with my friends and my family. They were impressed by their hospitality. I would highly recommend the place and would stay there again in future.
Room tip: definitely visit the roof top in the early morning for a wonderful view of Kanchenjunga.

It's a beautiful and cosy place to stay... It is located at the heart of Gangtok - MG MARG.
It has an old world charm to it. Receptionist is really sweet and happily offer you an upgrade for your room if available... The terrace area is accessible and offers a great view... Must stay

1. Room was clean and well maintained. I stayed in the most affordable one.
2. Breakfast is good(has Tea,Coffee,Bread,2 veg options, egg) and served at 7:30.
3. Hotel management is very supportive and rectify any of your issue in quickly.
4. Mountain view, depends on your room, bit terrace has good Kanchanjunga view.

The property is really good and located at the prime location in the market. The rooms are spacious, clean and the staff is really humble. We stayed for 2 nights and stay was mesmerizing. The view is amazing but you need to go the terrace the experience the bliss. Bed and Almirahs clean and sanitized. The food was really tasty and fresh. Quick service.

If you are visiting Sikkim then i can say book this hotel I booked terrace room hospitality and ambience of this hotel is very nice also you will have parking facility.
You have to be good driver for parking because parking way is difficult.

Had a excellent stay at Montis Soyang Premium Heritage Hotel. Rooms were neat, staff service was prompt and food quality was nice. I booked a premium room and they upgraded it to Super premium, Thanks for best service and good room. Overall experience was Excellent.

Amazing hospitality! Booked a Soyang Suite Room. The room was amazing and very vintage style authentic made from wood. A la carte Dinner served was also tasty. The service and courteousness of the hotel staff was next level!

Love the place as it's located in the most sought tourist point of Gangtok city which is MG Road ... It's very neat & clean... Affordable tariff... Great food... Top of all, nice management and staff...

IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO STAY IN GANGTOK. IT IS SITUATED RIGHT AT THE HEART OF THE CITY - MG MARG. SERVICE IS REALLY GOOD. THE ROOMS HAVE AN OLD WORLD CHARM TO THEM. This has legacy of 50 years old hotel and is awesome infrastructure.

First of all, this Hotel is a gem. One of the premium heritage sites and also premium staff team. They will be very hospitable and friendly and have beautiful terrace and open rooms . Must stay atleast once. You won't choose another in MG road after u choose Montis Soyang.
