LEOPARD ROCK WILDERNESS RESORT

The resort is located in a beautiful and peaceful place away from the busy town (Should take a deviation at 10th hair pin curve) the place and the rooms were clean. The staff were kind, polite, friendly and helpful. Last but not the least, the food was amazing - order anything in veg or non veg - they cook really great and they tasted amazing including the complementary breakfast. I definitely recommend this resort to everyone and you can take your family without any worries. This place will be my preference when I revisit Ooty again.

Amazing place amazing location right on the cliff with a waterfall view from the resort. They put fire at night in the outdoors and also have barbecue. Breakfast is complimentary. It is 15 mins away from crowded ooty. The road is good but a bit narrow would suggest reaching the place before 6.30pm. No shops close by but they have an in house kitchen which serves good food Indian and Chinese

Loved our stay! We spent 2 nights as a group of 5 people, and would recommend this to anyone looking to catch some fantastic views of the sky all day along.
The hotel is built to throw open some of the rooms( book the room with the view!)to an uniterrupted view of the valley, so it feels like waking up surrounded by misty trees. The staff catered to our every need and the owner had the perfect recommendations to make for places to see and restaurants in the city.

Excellent value for money stay off the beaten path. Tucked away in a remote corner about 20-25 minutes from Ooty. This is a place where you actually go to relax for a couple of days just soaking in the wild but beautiful scenery, the fresh air and the chills... brilliant food.. excellent staff... this property is small and not for elderly as it involves climbing up and down a lot of stairs...

The rooms are nothing less than a 3 or 4 star resort . beautifully designed. Every room is mountain facing with a peaceful view of the nature . we even spotted a few deers when the owner came in at night with a spotlight torch from the balcony.
The staffs serve a very pleasant hospitality . food is okay, i felt it could have been better . they’re about to open a beautiful restaurant and by then i hope the food will be up to the mark.
It was a good stay, worth the money even and I’d definitely recommend this resort to my friends and family.
I’d also left a few clothes at the resort and flew back to Kolkata but the resort was so kind and responsible to have sent the set of clothes via courier which I hope to be arriving very soon. :)

Leopard rock is a beautiful secluded resort. We absolutely loved our stay. Originally we planned just for 3 days and 2 Nights stay however we changed our mind and extended our stay for one more night. Rooms are bit small but cozy for 2 people. All rooms have wonderful view. Food is great as well. We were lucky to spot wildlife from our rooms - we saw bison and Wild deer through out the stay. We will be visiting again soon!

Perfect getaway to enjoy beautiful nature. The resort is the only resort in the area away from any disturbance and is right on the slopes with a valley view. If you stand on the porch, you can see wildlife like Sambhar and Indian Bison grazing sometimes.

The location is absolutely picturesque. The rooms are very good with good facilities.

The manager and the staff is very very friendly.

The owner is very friendly and pro-active. Will cater for all your needs.

The food is good.

The resort is located near Kallatty Falls, right in the middle of the Ghats, before Ooty, when traveling from Mysuru to Ooty by car. Being away from Ooty makes it a better option if you are looking to relax and enjoy the nature.

You can also trek in the nearby hill tops.

A must visit location with family and friends.

Great views, with good food and nice rooms. A group of 12 that stayed for two days. The service was on point with friendly staff and good service. The changing scenery was a good setting for our group activities. We spent most of our time on the big balcony seeing out into the Ooty valleys. The last two days were very enjoyable and we regret we did not book longer. I would recommend the egg curry, peanut masala and aloo paratha from the menu. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious and had a good variety right from idli, vada, dosa, chutney, upma and poori curry. We went for a couple of walks and even sighted a bison. We heard a Samba deer cry an alert and tried to spot the leopard but we couldn't. The owner of the property was very accommodating and even spent time with us discussing his future expansion plans. We look forward to coming back when the spa and infinity pool is ready.

This resort is apart from town. Awesome place , stress free place, can hear only birds sound, food so nice , good service all person were polite and friendly. must visit able place. only one drawback is, any play area along there means children's will enjoy more. otherwise super cool. Thank you

Leopard rock is one of a kind with looks of a resort and warmth of a homestay. Wonderful host and well mannered staff. We were two family with 4 kids and younger one being 10 months, the kids had a gala time. The view from the resort is awesome and words can't describe it... Only to be experienced. The food is fingerlicking-homemade kind. Both veg and nonveg is served. The breakfast was tasty too. Birds chirping in the misty early morning is your wakeup alarm.
The room are very well maintained.

This place is best for a getaway from hustle n bustle of a city life and there is a bonus of visits from wildlife. Overall this was a unique pleasant experience Mr. Manoj.

The location is just amazing! We had a front seat view to wildlife with multiple sightings of deer and bison.. though the leopard still eluded us. And the valley shows us a constantly changing view with clouds and mist rolling in and around the resort. The food was excellent too! I think we lucked out and got the best rooms in the main cottage and also the loft area for the kids making the experience that much better.

I highly recommend the resort.

We went there in December 2020. It was a family trip and we were close to 15 people. Management was extremely supportive from the time of booking till we left property.
They guided is choosing rooms, food were customised , on request it was kid's friendly too.
Location of this resort is very serene and they keep cleanliness as priority.
In the kitchen people were always with masks.
Special thanks to Keshav who was ensured to make everything home alike on request.

Me and my wife loved our stay at Leopard rock. Rooms were cozy and food was great but the view was fantastic. The owners were friendly and hospitable. Service was good as well.We spotted some wildlife from our balcony (Bison and Deer). Overall great experience. Will be visiting soon!

Probably the best that you can get at a reasonable price. We were quite lucky to be the only customer for that day and so we enjoyed our privacy. They made us feel like a home stay and the hospitality was good. They take orders and cook food fresh and hot but you cannot expect a tasty dish. The location and atmosphere of the resort makes you feel each penny worth it. If you are a nature lover and have enough stamina to climb a mountain then please do go for trekking which the resort people will guide you. It will come as an additional cost but trust me you would regret if had missed it. So if you're planning a trip to Ooty/masinagudi, don't miss this resort.

I had an amazing time at this resort. It definitely gave me the feeling of being at home. The rooms had a beautiful view of nature, we spotted a lot of wild animals ourselves.
The food was really good and the staff made it so comfortable with the brilliant hospitality.

The resort is well kept and has a gorgeous view of the mountain range, and of course the jungle bordering it.
Our room was big, airy, clean and with a view of the misty mountains and the green valley.

The early dawn welcomes you with the chirping of birds that cannot be seen in the city any more and if you are lucky you can see a lot of deer and Gaur in close proximity, all this in a place full of greenery, trees, flowers and the beautiful mountains surrounding it.

The food is good and homely and the ingredients are fresh. The service is quite good, and the staffs are attentive and friendly.

A most picturesque getaway, LR was a complete delight to visit.
