Matsya Darshini is a beautiful aquarium situated on Beach Road, Visakhapatanam.
In this place one can see various kinds of sea fishes, white sharks & turtles. Good place to bring the kids, they will enjoy a lot seeing various kinds of colourful fishes. In Matsya Darshini one can experience underwater marine life. Nice place to visit. Timing: 9am to 9pm & Entry fee: Rupees- 30 for adults and Rupees- 20 for children.

First of all the entrance is very beautiful.
You can see the lots of fish tortoise.
This is the opposite of Ramakrishna beach.
One of the best tourist place in Ramakrishna beach.
You can take photos and shoot videos totally free.

It was nice. Varieties of fishes present. A souvenir shop is also there that sells things made of sea shells and stuff.

Small but beautiful. We Spent an hour here and had a good time looking at the beautiful fish and other life forms. Do go if you have time!

Matsyadarshini Aquarium is a beautiful air-conditioned aquarium is aninitiative of the Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation, established on the shore of Ramakrishna Beach in the year of 1994. Matsya Darshni aquarium is located at a distance of 18 kms from the Vizag city.

Matsyadarshini is a beautiful aquarium and houses countless species of fresh and salt water marine life captured in more than 20 medium and large sized tanks. It has many marine varieties include the long horn cow fish, butterfly fishes, surgeon major, peacock wrasse, the lion fish, stone fish, red squirrel fish, perch dusky, trigger fish, clown fish, damsels, sweet lip rabbit fish, electric ray, porcupine fish, heavenly attendants and many more. Apart from this, the aquarium also exhibits many rare aquatic species, which were bought from distant lands such as Singapore and Malaysia.

The aquarium also displays a wide variety of uncommon marine invertebrates such as star fish, carpet anemone, tentacle -anemones in various colors are arranged in their original habited. In the fresh water tanks are displayed the oscars, pirahana, pacu, gouramis, tiger sharks, varieties of Gold Fishes etc.

It has an unique entrance - a wide open shark mouth through which the visitors can enter the aquarium. Tourists can enrich their knowledge about the marine animals by attending the movie show which is held regularly at the complex. The entry fees for the Matsyadarshini aquarium is Rs. 50 for adults and Rs. 20 for kids. The aquarium can be visited throught out the year. And it is open everyday during timings: 9 AM to 9. 00 PM.

Fish lovers enjoy very much to visit this place. Young kids also enjoy here. Many species of fish displayed here. Till 9 pm this opened for all.

Matsya Darshini, located on the beach road, is a well maintained Fish aquarium with around 50 varieties of fish and sea animals. The maintenance is appreciative and is worth a visit.
