It's one of the finest resorts of kaluk....starting from welcome tea to breakfast, lunch & dinner all food preparations were perfect!
The rooms were perfectly well maintained and view from all rooms were mesmerizing ! During our stay the behaviour and service of entire staff was praise worthy! We are looking forward to definitely visit this resort again!

Splendid, stupendous, picturesque!!!!! My words failed when I with my family entered the Kanchanjangha rooms iv and v.The scenic view from both the rooms are indescribably beautiful! especially from Kanchanjangha v. Both of rooms are SUPERIOR DELUXE (Premium) quality and so we had the facility of balconies that added cherry to the top. A huge range of Kanchenjungha is visible from inside the rooms also. The interior decoratins , furniture and aminities are superb. There are different catagories of rooms and all are good. I can never forget the beautifully decorated lawn with asuperb sitting arrangement downlooking a 180 degree view of nature and village. It has its own restaurant , a bit pricy but foods are delicious. Day to day house keeping. Very good and cooperative staffs and interactive and responsible manager. A nice place to take rest for few days.

Me and my friends stayed at Ghonday Village Resort in June 2023.
They welcomed us with traditional Nepali khada scarf and a nice welcome tea.
The location is very nice, the rooms are tidy and uniquely named after the mountain peaks that you can clearly see from the resort if the weather is clear. They have a nice garden and covered sitting area. If you wish then they would serve food there as well. The rooms doesn’t have Fan or AC but those are not required if not in extreme conditions. Staffs are very nice. Their in-house restaurant serves one of the best food I had in any resort. There is play area for children and a lot of greenery for everyone’s delight. Also they have car parking and separate accommodation for drivers if you wish to have someone drive your car.
I would definitely recommend everyone to visit this resort and have a splendid experience.

If you want serenity, if you want to rejuvenate yourself, if you are in search for peace then this resort is must visit place for you in Kaluk.

Run by local village women this property is just awesome in all senses. Breathtaking view of full range mount Kanchenjunga from Room Balcony, tasty variety of food, very clean, on time service…what you can expect more. Welcome Drink is superb lemon tea.

Balcony in the super delux rooms and Kanchenjunga rooms is like Dream Balcony for everyone. Balcony is the pivotal USP of this hotel.

Food is very tasty and surprisingly you will get all the varieties like Chinese, Indian, local, continental. Price is reasonable and they take order of your choice via intercom and provide it exactly the clock time you mentioned to them.

Room Service is very good. They provide new towel everyday. Guiser is available…Liquid soap is available…tea coffee maker is available…

Only remember to carry your dental kit.

It is recommended to stay at this property at least for 3nights so that you have the better chance to view mountain range on a clear sky morning from your room.

They have bonfire facilities if you come in group. You can hear birds chirping throughout the day…

The only thing is room is a bit small …but as you will sit most of time in the garden or in the balcony it won’t matter much. Visit this place at least once and you will fall in love with it. As a solo traveller I stayed here for seven days and yet I felt bad while I was going back.

Ideal place for those who wants to take some time out of their life and want to write stories,script, or want to read some story books or just want to evoke the inner peace with the help of nature.

Very beautiful place, excellent kanchenjunga view from room. The staffs are very helpful and welcoming with their warm behavior, always ready to help. You can enjoy time on a chess board while gathering around a bonfire doing BBQ. The cottages are better and rates are very reasonable.

Spent 3 days in the property recently. The service was excellent and so was the ambiance and vibe. Rooms offer panoramic view of the mighty Kanchenjunga. The food was decent and menu offers plenty options. Got free room upgrade which was very kind from the owner. The rooms are clean, hygienic and spacious. The property is very well decorated and maintained.

This is the place you must visit, homely environment with professional amenities. This is old resort, but really well maintained. Their cleanliness is noticeable. Everyone are very friendly and polite. You can see Kanchanjanga from room balcony. Come here and feel the nature. Still now Kaluk is not congested, but commercial development will start soon. So nature lovers, don't wait, visit now.

This is the best option at kaluk . We are using this resort professionally from 2008 . The mentainance of this property is awesome. They are mentaining their quality, service and ambience from the beginning.

The "kanchanjangha " room category is the best option here as per view and interior though almost of the rooms have good views.

The view from kaluk is equal attractive of pelling .here you don't have to face the hustle and bustle of traditional hill station like pelling . From this point of view kaluk is a better option than pelling .

Food is also quite good here .it's one of the most mentained property in Sikkim.

I stayed in December 2019 third week in this awesome resort , one of the best resort I have ever stayed in my life. I was offered Jupunu room and view was superb, we got breathtaking view of Mt. KANCHENJUNGA directly from the window of the room. We stayed three nights and were lucky to see her two days specially in the morning time. The restaurant facilities were excellent, good food along with nice decorated dining and bedroom. I liked the interior decoration of the rooms and lobby area. The hospitality of Puran and team was very nice and I would definitely love to go there again. 😊😊 Thank you Puran and team.

An excellent place to stay and relax in Kaluk. The rooms are very spacious and decorated. Every room offers you the aesthetic beauty of the Kanchenjunga ranges. The reception staff and room service are extremely polite and prompt in their behaviour. Food is a little bit costly but is worth it...great quality food. The restaurant is also good and luxurious. Another reason to book a room here and enjoy your weekend is the impeccable serenity and calmness of the surroundings; the hotel has it's own lawn,orange trees and numerous vegetation with vibrant flowers.

I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a luxurious weekend and I am sure you will have a once in a lifetime experience here 😄

We had a fantastic time at this resort. Rooms were nice and airy with great view. One can view full mt. Kanchenjunga from the rooms when sky is clear.
The hospitality of the staffs were exceptional and they were always tried to make our stay better.

This is a beautiful little resort tucked away in thelittle hamlet, Kaluk. The rooms are spacious and they provide every thing you need to make your stay comfortable. The food at its restaurant is droolworthy! Try their thukpa while you are at it. The property is very well maintained and offers a magnificent view of the Kanchenjunga range.

Had an amazing experience during our stay here. Would definitely give 10* if Google provided the option to do so. The view of mystic Kanchenjunga from our window was breathtaking. Plus had a campfire and chicken roast in the evening that added extra points to our wonderful experience. Also, the food quality was awesome and there was no need to search for food from outside. Just remember, Kaluk being a small place in Sikkim, they close their canteen by 9 PM. So, order food in advance. Would definitely like to visit this hotel and take the same room (Room name: Jopunu).

This is one of the best places I've ever been to. The resort is a complete bliss. The facilities they provide is top class, the rooms are wonderful and the view can give the best hotels a run for their money. The resort has been very thoughtfully created and is maintained meticulously. One need not go anywhere if the sky is clear as the entire Kanchenjungha range comes to your room. Lastly, their chef is as good. The food is awesome and the proportions good. To sum up, guys definitely visit Kaluk and definitely stay here. November to January is the best time to visit as the likelihood of a clear sky is huge...

It's a wonderful resort located in an awesome place, facing the Magestic Himalayas.They serve very tasty & fresh food. The service is prompt & courteous. The Rooms are well decorated & having all the amenities.The toilets are clean with modern fittings.

Mr.Gurung, the prop.of this resort takes all possible care for his guests. Puran, the very young manager, is always available with a sweet smile.

There should be some arrangement for the weather becoming too hot at times.

This is undoubtedly the best place to stay in Kaluk. The view of Kanchenjunga can't get better than this, at least in India. I have been to most of the hill stations overlooking Kanchenjunga but this is the only place where the Sleeping Budha captures entire horizon and creates a perfect landscape. T
The Kanchenjunga rooms are the best rooms available in the property, and from there you can enjoy the view at its best.
