Talkies is not that bad bt I faced the parking problem there
Experience something unique here. You will get the lowest ticket rates in entire Pune. Sound quality and picture quality is best in class. There is lots of place for parking and good thing is that you can take your food inside and even the food which you get his side don't have any taxes so the price of very cheap. Chairs in the theatre are not that luxurious but still you can enjoy the experience. My experience was good here and I'm looking forward to visit again.

A very old movie theater in Pune at a very busy square named by the theater called Alka Talkies Chowk(Square). The theater is like all theaters are before multiplex theaters kicked in. People going to multiplexes won't like this place but if you want authentic 2000s movie theater experience just go for it. Toilets are kept clean but then again not at par with multiplex. The theater seats are comfy but no air conditioning. Screen and sound are good. But what can you expect at ticket price below 100 in today's age. Go for it just for the experience.

Fabulous sound quality but seats are Lil uncomfortable. Overall I got very good experience.

Food is not that great. All packaged food available. Hygiene is more essential part. Lot of scope for improvement. Ideal place for movie lovers once ramped up to better infrastructure.

since childhood am watching Hollywood movies here. nice seating arrangement and nice sound... I watched 'tora tora tora' here... sound effects of bombed taking off war plane scrolling of propeller from right corner of screen to left of screen makes you feel 'paisaaaaa wasoooool'...

Loved it place very good theatre

It's oldest talkies / theater in Pune . It's pretty small but build long time ago . There is only 1 screen may be . Only 2D movies are shown no 3D facility is available in this theater . The screen is not that bright compared to other theater screens . We can understand it's old theater so the facilities are limited but the price of the ticket is also cheapest in the Pune .

A very good old theatre with old memories

In childhood days this was the cinema hall with a budget seating rates for Hollywood and western classics.
This was in 1980 or so. Many memories of english movies and Dada Kondke movies

This is probably the oldest multiplex for Marathi movies now there are many better options than this ...as this multiplex is unclean and screen is also not that good it should either do something about screens or we should switch to newer and upgraded screen multiplex.. although ppl still love to go there due to it's trust and bonding of so many years
