This place is also known as Khonga in locality. Idol of Lord Shiva is installed here by HH Thakur Shri Lal Mahesh Pratap Singh Baghel, fourth ruler of Baderi. After him, it is named Maheshwar Mahadev. It is about 200 years old. It is situated on the bank of river surrounded by exquisite natural beauty. Some claims that during heavy rain, a coin kept on shivling can never moved by heavy flow of river. Every year, a fair is held by the local people on the occasion of Vasant Panchami.
