Hitaishi Homestay

We visited during 1st week of may 2023. Its a beautiful calm and quiet place where you can get peace of mind, their behavior were very homely. We were amazed when we were greeted by their traditional KHADA. We felt like we are in a home out of home. We must say about the arrangement of the Birthday party for one of our child, by their own initiative. An unique experience, love to visit again.

We are a family of 21 people . The host Ms Gauri and her family took excellent care of us . She served healthy food . Our kids had a great time . They also arranged Bon Fire on request . Rooms can be better managed with good towels and Bed Linen. The access to the property is also little difficult but they are laying new road which will be ready soon . There was also occasional water shortage but they arranged back up soon. Overall we had a memorable stay . Will come back soon . Thanks Ms Gauri and her family . Mr Vikas was very friendly and guided us to a good trek around the mountains .

This is actual homestay where a guest gets an homely feelings.
the property is clean, neat and surrounded by lush green nature. It's away from noise and other disturbances.
The host Gauri and her family members are so warm and are too helpful. Please don't forget to try organic, authentic and tasty sikkimies food.

Traveling to the mountains and finding a perfect stay which provides a home far away is a dream. Me and my friends were lucky enough to have such an experience with Hitaishi Home stay. Located amidst unparalleled scenic beauty and a view of the mighty kanchenjungha, Hitaishi home stay has a lot to offer. For starters, during our visit the owners were kind enough to give us a grand welcome even at midnight, when we finally reached the venue. From an authentic nepali breakfast, to a full course lunch and on top of everything the exquisite service that Subhojeet and Sudeshna had to offer was beyond our expectations, They even arranged for live barbeque on hours’ notice to cater our spontaneous plans. I will always be thankful for the effort people at hitaishi put in to provide us that perfect vacation and the homely vibe. I would strongly recommend all fellow travellers that if you are in martam don’t miss out on the experience hitashi has to offer.

Although it was a tiresome journey to Bermiok, but the warm welcome with all smiles by the manager of the homestay, Mr. Subhajit Dutta made it all go away. Also the beauty of the place was worth a thousand dimes. The journey to the homestay from the main road is again tiresome as you have to climb a good height to reach there, but the majestic view of the nature from the location of the property melts your heart away and also make your tiredness go away. The warm hospitality by Mr. Subhajit and a fine dining cooked by Mr. Prasanta made our stay more cozy and awesome. In short, the stay at Hitaishi homestay was a gem due to two reasons; one being the majestic view of the nature and the other being the warm hospitality by Mr. Subhajit and his associate.

A very nice to stay & had a very warm welcome. The food is good. This place also provides quite a scenic beauty. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Good hospitality and homely environment.
This homestay is runed by a simple family ,who are very kind and fun-loving.
During the stay here ,we can go for trekking , sightseeing to nearby places like rabdenste ,pelling ,singshore bridge .
Delicious food served is the best here (organic food).
Can also organise birthday celebration /party and some friends family gatherings here.

Shubhojit has been an all-smiling host. The stay was excellent. The environment around itself is worth relishing. We visited in March 2021. Wud love to go again.

For the record, my GPS showed the location as 27.25552N, 88.18918E, a few kilometers closer to Dentam than is shown on the map. It's also on the other side of the road (that is, it's on the right side if you're coming from Dentam and riding east. There's a sign spraypainted onto a stone wall on the right.)

The experience was so amazing.. The way of their welcome to us was a wonderful experience to us and the behaviour of the homestay owner and staff was very good and polite

The more u say is less about this homestay. A really comfortable stay with running hot water 24×7, with very good food and the hospitality is definitely worth mentioning. A must visit to this place if one is looking for tranquillity and peaceful ambience.

Taste of organic food really awesome specially traditional food.

It is a piece of heaven in Bermiok..Gauri ji and her family members are very gentle & honest.She has taken care of my mother as her own mother..rooms are well decorated and all facilities are available. Everything is neat and clean.You will love the organic food & Thomba.

Was a great stay there. Mrs Gauri cheering is a perfect hostess. So is Sharmila the wyoung girl. Really miss Suman and Motu. Really miss them
