Rabdentse Ruins is the archeological site that tells Sikkim's story of glory.Rabdentse is the 16th former capital of Sikkim and the condition of this is in ruins. It is located very close to the Pemayangtse Monastery and the impeccable view of Kanchenjunga range is incredible. It was destroyed in 18th century. It has many stories of power and glory.There is a 15-25 minute-long and dangerous trek from that goes through a lake and forested hills. Be careful during the rainy season as the road became very slippery. And watch out for harmful insects. After reaching the ruins will be mesmerized by the view of the hills , remains of buildings, worship places etc . Absolutely stunning and lovely place. Must visit for a trekking adventure.
