Bandhavgarh Ticket Counter

This is the main ticket counter at Tala and the main place that everybody should know off.

TIMINGS :
Morning: 10:00AM to 12:30PM
Afternoon: 1:30PM to 4:00PM
Evening: 6:15PM to 7:45PM

OFFLINE TICKETS:
For normal offline tickets, you need to maintain queue outside the main counter building. Please make sure to join the queue atleast 30 minutes before the counter opening time. A form is provided which needs to filled up and submitted and the tickets are issued on first come first serve basis as the number of gypsies allowed are limited.

ONLINE TICKETS (MORNING SAFARI):
For online ticket holders who have morning safari at any of the core or buffer zones, you may come in the evening office time ( 6:15PM to 7:45PM ) one day before your safari date and get your online tickets verified as well as your gypsy and guide allocated. Just make sure you have a printed copy of the tickets. On payment of the gypsy and guide fee, you will be free of formalities on the following day for your safari, saving precious time which can help you jump the gypsy queue at your respective safari gate (the earlier you enter the park, the better your chances are to see the tigers ). On payment of Rs 100 more, you can also opt for pick&drop facility from hotel on the same gypsy (Don't worry, the gypsy drivers always come on time to the specified hotel).

ONLINE TICKETS (EVENING SAFARI):

NIGHT SAFARI OFFLINE TICKETS:
As of Jan 2024, night safari is available for opting every day but only in one buffer zone, i.e, Dhamokhar and not in any of the core zones. No online tickets are available for this. You can come to the office in the evening before 7PM, buy the tickets there, get gypsy and guide allocated and set out from 7PM to 10PM directly. However, I must add that night safari is just for feeling the forest at night as nothing will be visible except the road.

I expect this place should be more informative about forest zones and there important thing before visiting.
I reached here very early 5 am in morning which helped me to smooth out for safari.

If you want to book your jungle safari for next day morning then visit this place at 6 pm at evening day before. Tickets are sold from 7 pm onwards

Booking counters have two timings :
1) For booking made for day safari i.e between 03:00 to 06:30pm. Person need to verify themselves at booking counters by 01:00pm on same day.
2) For booking made for morning safari i.e from 06:30am to 11:00am.Person need to verify themselves at booking counters by 07:00pm 1 day earlier than safari day.
Better you book online and then visit the safari.

Ticket counter

The ticket counter is the area where all the safari starts from.

The timings are
Morning - 8:00 am to 12:30pm
Afternoon - 1:30pm to 4pm
Evening - 6:15pm to 7:45pm

The entire process of buying tickets, verification, gypsy and guide allotment is smooth and hassle free.

Provisions for offline ticket booking are also available. The queue system is pretty good and everything happens without any hesitation. I would recommend buying tickets online to avoid the queue and the tension.

There are separate counters for offline ticket booking, online ticket verification, gypsy and guide allotment and night safari as well.

There is complete information given on a board outside the ticket counter about the process of ticket booking and verification as well the prices and the timings of the safari.

The behaviour of the employees were also polite. They provide you with all the necessary information and the documents required for the safari.

After ticket verification you have to go to a separate counter for guide allotment.

Pickup and drop facility from your respective hotels is also available for 75 and 100 rupees which depends on the distance of your hotel. I would recommend getting a pick up and drop facility as the gypsy drivers arrive on time for the respective Safaris.

Toilet facilities are available for both genders

Ticket prices are 2450 permit + 3000 gypsy and guide 480 and 600 available according to availability.
On weekends the permit price is 3050 rest everything is the same.
