Jain Group Hotel Sonamchen

One of the best hotels in Upper Pelling in terms of view. On a clear day Mt. Kanchenjunga can be visible even from the bed. Toilets are clean with modern fittings. Beds are comfortable, rooms are well furnished. There are attached balconies in the mountain view rooms from where excellent view of mountains and valley is visible. Foods were tasty but only veg option available and bit overpriced. But considering the location it is acceptable.

Had a great time. Every amenity provided was wonderful and satisfying. Rooms were in good condition, food was tasty and delicious and the view was so awesome. The staff was very cooperating and helped us very much. Felt like home away from home. Will definitely visit again. 😊

This was one of my best experience in upper pelling. Room service and staff behaviour is awesome. We have also taken food form them which is also of good quality. Rest visit and stay you will be able to enjoy a proper welcome and goodbye from them.

It's the best hotel in pelling. The price is perfect. Staff is polite and friendly. The view from the hotel is breathtaking. The bus stand is very close too. The room was very good and cozy.

An excellent place to stay in upper pelling, direct view of kanchanjanga mountain. Staff is the best part, they called us on the check in date if we needed any assistance. The food is good too.

In the last week of November ' 2023 I checked in this wonderful hotel with my wife and only son.
The room provided to me was simply beautiful. A large spacious room neatly furnished with a large master bed and all required furnitures .
We did not have to walk to the large balcony of the room to have a look at the Lord Kanchanjangha because we had to open the curtain of the big big window of our room to have beautiful views of the sleeping Buddha.
This hotel at the prime location of upper pelling is big one with a large kitchen, a spacious dining room and a banquet hall. All neat and clean like a beautiful picture.
But the most beautiful thing in this hotel is the friendly courteous behaviour of its staff. They were helpful warm and loving.
All the staff were very soft and nice . I must mention the name of the person I met first time at the reception.... Mr. Adip Rai.
And as soon as we met we became friends💘. It really is wonderful to have a friend like Adip at far away Pelling, Sikkim.
My best of wishes for this wonderful wonderful HOTEL.

Large spacious room with a view of Kanchendzonga and other peaks. The service is nice with friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner is included with the room rent. The hotel offers veg only food since it's managed by Jains.

There is an eternal question - what is the best KANCHENJUNGA view hotel / resort. The list is big according to budget but to my experience this is one of the best one because you will get your accommodation in different budget category and all have spectacular Kanchenjunga view. This is a big property with multiple floors. Rooms are big, well maintained, neat and clean. Toilets have hot water round the clock. Fresh clean linen on cozy beds. And large glass Windows for you to enjoy the views of mountain. Every stuff of this hotel is very friendly and always helpful. This hotel have their own restaurant which serves VEGETARIAN foods. But if you want other culinary then there are lots of option outside.

Room was very clean. The view from the window and the balcony was very mind blowing. Bathroom was very good. The bathroom window also has a very good mountain View. Food quality was very good.Well behaved staffs. Overall very good hotel to stay.
