Phamrong Falls

A beautiful waterfall near Yuksom, 1st capital of Sikkim. Road is not that good but the view is awesome.

Phamrong Falls❤ in December it like a baby water falls but in April it's become a giant...
At a distance of 7 km from Yuksom and 35 km from Pelling, Phamrong Falls is a stunning waterfall situated near Pelling in West Sikkim district.

Had a nice walk down to the waterfalls from Yuksam. Takes about 1.5 hrs down and 2 up. The first impression when you see them is Wow! Also doubles as the local car wash

One hell of an enchanting experience to be here. It's about a one and a half hours drive from Pelling. Best time to visit is just after the monsoon. Bathing here is strictly a NO. Tourists have to understand that they are here visiting to experience the natural beauty and not to pollute. If you want to get wet you might as well do it in Rimbi falls that's just 6km from Pelling after Darap village. Please don't leave your trash here, especially plastic. Enjoy your visit.

Mighty waterfall in West Sikkim.. and who says you can't just sit and listen to the thunderous thumping of the waters on the mighty stones and still feel peaceful. About less than an hour's drive from Yuksom, West Sikkim enroute to Namchi, South Sikkim..

These falls are enroute if you travel from Borong to Yuksom, like we were 🙏🏼❤. Ironically the road ahead is closed for work so avoid this falls+road for another 2-3 months! We enjoyed our time at the waterfalls, climbed the dingy bamboo bridge in front too!!

We were forced to drive back another 15km and take a higher road which was super-narrow & was being constructed. We have decided to call it Upper-Phamrong road. Don't take this road unless u are with an experienced driver & 4x4drive vehicle! You have been suitably warned 😀☠ we lived to tell the tale. (But the funny part is this new road joins at the tip of Yuksom❤ and one ends up entering Yuksom valley from the top. So you can imagine how crazy/bad the "goat path" of a road was!

Loved the place. Don't miss to climb up the stairs to the best view point.

This beautiful waterfall is Located around 5 km away (before) from Yuksom if you take the road of Yuksom via Tashiding. There is one more waterfall nearby but Phamrong has its charm. Presently new steel bridge was constructed for the movement of vehicles but one vehicle at a time.

Beautiful water fall in Pelling. But the place is deserted. Not too many tourists visit this place as one needs to ride so many stairs to reach the actual beauty of the fall.

Truly mesmerizing memories and experience after having visited the place. The landscape is thrilling filled with experience of being the in the denser parts. One should and must visit the place.

Phamrong Falls is a beautiful waterfall situated close to Palling in West Sikkim district. Located between Yuksam and Gerethang, Phamrong is highest waterfall of Sikkim and some of the satisfactory places to go to in Pelling. Set within the midst of lush greenery, this waterfall cascading down from the outstanding Kanchenjunga Ranges. The water gushing down the rocky plateau creates an incredible vista of a play between water and rocks. A bridge close by provides captivating view of the whole waterfall.

Quite high and good for that photo session break. Unfortunately the way to view point is traecherous so will not suggest to all. Only for adventurists. Otherwise would have been a nice place

If u visit on a hot sunny day you'll feel like visiting everyday.
