We went to Sri Kanaka Mahalaxmi temple at the evening 06.00 PM on 23/04/2023 and we got Kanakamahalaxmi Amma Vaari dharshnam with in an hour. There are most of the trusty board members are women including chair person.

Nice and sacred place to visit .feelings blessed 🙌. Evening time 6 to 7pm seems closed for Darshan dur to Evening Alati

The most satisfying thing in this Temple is we can offer our servings to the Goddess. Of course it is crowded for maximum times but when we go to the temple in the afternoon, the crowd is very less. If anyone is looking to see the mother for a long time and offer your worship and prayer, better choose afternoon times and weekdays. Mental peace and happiness is assured for sure.

We have been there with the family and each and every time we visit we find some new experience, We must visit and get the blessings in our life of Devi Sri kanaka mahalaxmi goddess of peace and prosperity.

I visited the temple alongwith my sister to worship sri kanaka mahalakshmi, famous goddess in Visakhapatnam and had good darshan with a little waiting in line.

It is a hindu holy goddess . Thursday was dedicated to her. The temple is without any roof to the main statue . In the good olden days it was a Village God ( Grama Devata ) . It is one of the worth seeing tourist place.

We have gone on last Tuesday noon in Margasira masam.. Peacefully we have performed our darshanam. We are very happy.
But car parking is not possible around the temple. So we parked our car 1km away from our temple.

Sri Kanaka Mahalakshmi temple is Hindu temple which resides at Burujupeta Near Reading Room Visakhapatnam. This temple is very famous after Simhachalam, Anakapalle Nookalamma Temple at Vizag. One who visits Vizag for the first time must come here for Amma Darshanam. It is a pleasant place to worship the Goddess Mahalakshmi.

Awesome experience and one that is very rare in South India.

A small temple for Goddess Lakshmi for over 50 years where one can make offerings work your own hands. Whether it is పసుపు కుంకుమ or breaking a Coconut or drenching the Goddess in Milk - all these you can do yourself with your own hands. This is really a rarity in South Indian temples.

The temple has wonderfully carved Lakshmi statues all thru the Mandapam. The government managed queue system doesn't even bother or care to display or encourage people to see them. Wish they will change the pattern to give the opportunity for the devotees too enjoy the temple and it's history.

A must visit temple in Visakhapatnam area.

Must visit place in vishakapatnam. This godess is very powerful. If someone is going there in own transport, please be prepared for long walk, therefore it is observed to go by public transport or by local autos and cabs.

Sri Kanaka Maha Lakshmi is one of the most powerful goddess in the city. In 1912, the idol of the Goddess was found in a well and was installed in the centre of the town. But i the year 1917, the dangerous contagious disease 'Plague' spread over the town and so many deaths occurred in Visakhapatnam village. The people of Visakhapatnam were afraid of the incident and thought the devastation was due to shifting of idol of goddess 'Shri Kanaka Maha Lakshmi' and therefore, re-erected the idol to its original place, that is at the center of the road as it exists now.After the re-erection, the "Plague' disease was cured and normalcy was restored. With this, the Goddess has being celebrated fest since then.

Rush on weekends. Very pleasant temple complex. Abhishekam and offerings be presented by us only. Crowd will be huge on special days. Parking not available.

It's a very old Temple famous for deities thronging the Kanaka Mahalakshmi Tempke during Thursdays Margasira Month (December-January). On Thursdays is very crowded. Ticket systems are there for quick Darshan from very nearer to the Deity. Starts from Rs.50 to Rs.300 per person. Managed by Govt of AP Endowment Dept.

We visited this temple morning around 09.00 AM on a weekday and we had Amma Vaari dharshnam with in few mins. There was no crowd even then trusty people requested us to buy tickets, still we went in a no ticket line.
Ticket was Rs.50, 100 & 250. As there was no crowd we had done abhishekam and other rituals peacefully. Prasadam pulihora (Rs.15) & laddu (Rs.10) was very nice. Car parking and footwear stand available.

In my childhood I went to this temple several times. Now the temple is fully developed with many facilities. I love visiting this temple again and again. Our worship to the God is very faithful.

Divine place as it is very famous place in vizag little bit crowded as we went on dasara there are 50,100,200 rupees seperate q- lines Thursday and Friday there will be huge rush as said by the temple people over all good

Must visit temple for Andhra's Arya Vysya community. Visited in the afternoon, so was practically empty. Otherwise it can be very crowded during festival seasons.
