Amrutham - Pure Andhra Style Cuisine

Visited this place as suggested by my friend and it lived up to the name. Tried Andhra chicken rice, gongura chicken curry and payasam. Loved the rice and curry, on the spicier side, loaded with flavours and cooked to perfection. Payasam was delicious too. The quantity and quality of food was great for the price I paid.

On our vizag trip, this was suggested by a local friend who stays in MVP Colony. Turns out this place is a heaven for people who want simple, hygienic, home made style food. The young guy near Entrance noticed that we were tourists and travelling in a bike all the way from Jharkhand and guided us through the menu and was extremely courteous in his approach.
A little chat about the pleasures of being in a relatively small city and it already felt like home.
We went there the second day too. It's a place wherein you really feel like you are welcome. This made my Vizag trip memorable.. .

I came to know of this eatery via Rocky and Mayur, and those 2 names can be trusted. This place serves amazing Andhra style food, very homely and tasty. The variety of dishes and the spice level in all of them was brilliant. Must try- Cashew chicken (its not on the menu, but be nice and they'll serve it to you)

The food was extremely delicious and different than regular food. We ordered gongura chicken and prawn biryani which tasted flavourful. My only complaint is that it was served in very less quantity. The price was affordable. However, it will be better to increase price and quantity to serve families better. The ambience was calm and authentic.

Amrutham is located near Ushodaya junction, MVP Colony. I saw some good reviews about their food. We ordered chicken pickle biryani and amrutham special nonveg thali. I really loved spicy chicken pickle biryani with generous amount of ghee and chicken. After a long time I had non veg thali and it's great. Ambience of this place is homely and service was quick.

There is a slight increase of prices in menu... I ordered two non veg thalis .. one is chicken thali and another one is fish thali ... The taste of the both thalis are really good especially the chicken thali... It remembered my child hood days in taste

After seeing other veg thalis I realized that veg thali has a more options than non veg thali

I will visit Amrutham again to taste another dish

Amazing food...there is no compromising in any of the dish we ordered fish fry and it' was really fresh and served hot hot 🔥 and tasted yumm..ad along with ordered for thali...for a kind of homely touch to our lunch...and that too turned out well..each and every item had different taste and no compromise in the quality...!! Would recommend to visit this strongly!!

To my go to catering if I have any parties or get togethers.. Food taste n quality is excellent....Budget friendly too with great customer service....I have referred them to many of my friends now ..Thanks Rohit!

Good place for authentic vegetarian south indian thali. The place is well maintained. it's hygienic for dine in. We enjoyed our food there. The cost is pocket friendly.

If you are new in vizag and want to taste authetic andhra food, you should visit this place. We enjoyed food here at a very cheap price. And their hospitality is very good👍

We had food orders for continuous 5 days owing to my marriage and Amrutham food default menu itself was good enough. The food was consistent at each meal without any minute change to the taste.

We also happened to have a take away on one of the days so visited the restaurant itself.

I will fully recommend this eatery for anybody who has an occasion planned and looking for food catering or in general ordering food.

Tip - they always provide more than you ask for so if you need for 5 order for 5 only and their estimate will be enough for few extra as well.

Pure Andhra style food available here. Taste of every dish was good. The behaviour of the waiters and staff was very good which enhanced the experience here

We visited Amrutham for lunch last Sunday while on holiday at Vizag. Although there isn't a lot of room for accommodating a large number of people, the place was clean and staff too were polite. And seeing that we weren't Telugu speaking locals, the manager Dasaradh Cherukuri himself stepped in and helped ordering the specialities of the place whilst also giving tips on what to do in and around Vizag. The food was delicious, felt homely and was value for money. One of the local fares that we really enjoyed was a humble rice dish which Dasaradh recommended, was made of mango pickle, dal and ghee (the name escapes me) something I would definitely like to try making it back at home.

This favourite hangout place for the people who wants to visit with friends.The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The chefs takes great care in selecting the best quality ingredients.

Best place for a simple and ideal thali. Price is reasonable and also proportionally taste. Ambience is not that hi-fi. But it's okay. I have tasted many a times and found comfortable and perfect for an ideal bachelor who don't wanna waste food and money at a time.

Had Veg Meals for lunch Yesterday at Amrutham, MVP vizag, with my son. Food was tasty & fresh. Liked d tomato pappu & the brinjal curry. Sambar & rasam were also very good. And the majiga pulusu was excellent. And the mango avakai was too good. Of course the quality of rice was good & every serving was hot. Must say all in all a wholistic experience. Last but not least had a very stomach filling at reasonable price. A 👍 for meal at Amrutham.
