Fabindia Gangtok

I have been a very loyal and frequent customer of Fabindia for a long time now, so loyal that I went to FabIndia to shop even at such a huge shopping street like MG Road,Gangtok.My experience has always been great apart from my visit to this store. Felt like the staff starts gossiping about you in their own language right after you enter the place. Very rude and non friendly. I'm giving this one star review mostly because of the zonal head of the store who literally is an egoistic and a very rude person. He is mannerless and lacks decency. I don't know why Fabindia has hired such people. It will only ruin the customer experience. Along with that, they had put a metal lamp right in front of the crockery cup display which is very inconvenient according to the circulation space. When I went to pick a few cups to buy, the lamp got stuck to my top and fell, only because of its placement
. There was a very minor damage to one of the candles because of which they charged me 7k. They made me helpless to pay even without having any money since I had to leave for the Bagdogra Airport to catch my flight. Payment wasn't the issue, it was the customer service and the behaviour. Expecting a good service from such a good brand. You might get the money from the customer but you would not be able to buy the experience. Attaching the display picture to show the error.

The customer service is zilch.The staff there lacks etiquette and manner.. very opinionated and crude. Never been to a store that made me feel like "they were doing me a favour by selling their stuff".
Been there twice..... but never again. Please tread this store with extreme caution ⚠... cheers
