Hotel Mayura Yagachi

Ambience is excellent. Surroundings are lush green. Food is quite good. Staff very helpful. Located near yagachi dam, away from hustle bustle of the town.
Only negative is that there is no wardrobe in the room. They should keep a large sized wardrobe in rooms and keep furniture, walls and bedsheets clean. Also Wi-Fi speed is poor.

Whenever we're en route to both our hometown and Bangalore, we consistently choose to stop here for lunch. The location is delightful and cozy, and they provide excellent service along with exceptionally tasty food.

It was a good experience staying in the hotel. The amenities were good. The food was par. But I think the cleanliness of the rooms especially the window and doors should be taken into care. There were lots of cob webs behind the doors and the bedsheets looked a little dirty.
Rest was fine. Bed was comfortable and had a good night sleep. The rooms are spacious and has a beautiful balcony view.

Very good rooms and overall this is the most clean hotel that i came across that is managed by tourism department. Rooms are small but fully functional and very neat. The place gives a feel of a resort and is close to the dam and on the way to chikmangaluru

Rooms were good, service was slow as there were not many people staying, food was tasty, location was very useful as it was on Chikkamagalore route

I had breakfast and it was good, i recommend this hotel, who travels from Chikmagalur to Hassan

This is a KSTDC managed hotel and it is surprisingly well maintained when compared to general government standards. The staff are super friendly especially the watchman/service guy who is full of local knowledge. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bathrooms are clean albeit old. The restaurant is open from morning 8.00AM to evening 8.30PM. Food is good and tasty. Onion pakoda is a must try snack in the evening with coffee. The phulkas and paneer butter masala was also good. Ambience is top notch. Overall a definitely worth experience.
Caution: do not expect TAJ or MARRIOT experience. This is a rustic and humble place to stay.

Wroth driving 5 kms outside Belur for this unexplored Mayura resturant. Food is a class apart and place feels like a Palace, it's so spacious and you feel like sitting in the middle of nature.

South Indian Thali which we tried is worth every penny and Sambar was finger licking.

Good food, Ambient parking space - what else is needed.

One more thing, the toilets are clean and tidy too...

We did not try rooms hence cannot comment.

Very limited variety of food. But taste is good. Maintained neatly. Car park facility available. Rest rooms are clean. Ideal place of family.

Govt run hotel and maximum people don't know about it. But the service and food is very good.. they serve the food in very good quantity..therefore when you order anything then better order 2 meals or anything if you are 3 people.

Great hotel in Belur. Appreciate the kstdc for maintaining such beautiful hotels in important tourist locations. Rooms are clean and nice. Big open space surrounding the hotel. Reasonable price. The complimentary breakfast is very nice although it is not a buffet. Located exactly opposite to yagachi dam. The Belur temple is just 3 kms from hotel. Lots of parking space. The restaurant is good. Overall it's a pleasent experience on staying in this hotel

I visited the restaurant in mayura yagachi for lunch and I must say the food served was fantastic. It is the best restaurant in belur. The north Indian dishes served were very good. The ambience is good and the service is fast.
