Yagachi Dam Park. ಯಗಚಿ ಅಣೆಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಉದ್ಯಾನ

Small and peaceful place to visit during evenings. Not much crowd and hence not much eateries or shops.
Parking was easy.
Boating is available and that's it, there is nothing more to do other than to observe the flowing water..
Timings are between morning 7 to evening 6 for the park. Boating closes down by 5.30pm or so.
There is no shelter inside the park.

Beautiful place to visit. Garden's / parks need maintenance. But the views when gates are opend n dam is full then its amazing. Do check it out its free

Good place to visit on the way to Chikmangaluru. Nice views. You can spend some time and have some food there as well.

Dam is good and calm place to walk away

Peaceful environment with no crowd. Ofcourse, it was pretty hot around the month/time we visited. Kids had a good learning experience to understand the fucntioning of the dam. Neat & Clean. Wear caps if you plan to stroll around.

The Place is Amazing. No entry free. Has Free parking as well. You will need to walk a lot to see the amazing view. They have Speed boats and other tourists attractions available. Must check nearby areas

It's been an amazing experience and boat ride is super. Water sports are very good at that place and Yagachi dam park are good and can enjoy with family and have lunch under tree with very beautiful garden.

This is a beautiful,serene dam on the way to Chikmagalur. Don’t miss it for anything. Though the main dam area may be closed for public,you can still go around the place and have a great view. Worth a visit.

Best place to enjoy with friends as it has so many water sports . Kayaking ,banana fall , speed boat were legit .
