Really good for a walk. When I visited On a Sunday evening the place was not crowded. There is parking space too & there is no entry fee either.

Yagachi Dam is near Belur, Hassan district. It's beautiful having a pathway to view the dam and garden. For a day outing with family and friends, it's a beautiful place.

Yagachi dam and reservoir is located on the way to Chikmagalur city. Not a very big dam, but worth a visit. No one is allowed to enter the dam, like all other dams. Probably a kilometer away, you have water sports and boating. Parking space is available and one can enjoy localities selling bhel puri and churmuri, outside the dam..

Great place for evening. Do not visit during afternoon times. Should visit Preferably during monsoon or postmonsoon. Lawn is well maintained. Great place for photography.

It's a beautiful place to visit with family. You can take photos over there. Also good for an evening walk.

This small is located on the yagachi river near Belur. There are watersports and boat rides available too. The dam authorities have developed 2 parks in the entrance which can add to the picnic experience. Overall, a good short outing can be planned with family / friends.
