Dehradun Zoo

Loved the zoo. Has many good species of fishes, birds and cactus. The things you will see here are definitely not present in many other zoo. If you plan to visit dehradun add this to your list and you won't regret it.

An awesome, big and beautiful park. It's a place that is a must to visit. Closed on Mondays. Open on other days from 9 to 5. There's an aquarium, cactus garden, snakes, birds and some animals. The food items aren't that good but it's fine. It's a big place. And it's very interesting. Please do visit

Wonderful experience specially in aquarium. Kids love this place. But only 1-2 snakes I found in Snake house.

Nice zoo ....ticket price is 30+50+10 rupees....one can buy ticket for individual zone . Entry fee 30 rupees, aquarium fee 50 rupees and botanical section 10 rupees

The best time to visit the zoo is in the summer. If you go in winter, all the animals, birds, and insects stay inside, and you will not see anything outside.

It is a good place to visit during your free time. If you want to have a good evening walk, close to nature or want to have a photoshoot then you can visit here. Here you can see different species of birds, fishes, snakes and plants. Wild animals like lions and tigers are not present.

With just a total of 90 rupees i had a great experience and exposure to the animal world.

The animals there are happy and kept in safe and sound environment.
Proper food and care is provided, so near and clean place.

I really enjoyed the zoo, although it's small but it's worth it.

Zoo is spread across foothills of mountain,It has deer,antelope,crocodile, variety of birds, emu, ostrich , snake park , cactus garden and fish park.One has to buy tickets for all at the counter only.

Very good experience in dehradun zoo so many bird like macaw, ostrich ,diffrent types of snake ,crocodile 🐊and fishes🐠🐟🐟🐠🐟🐠 fun park childern are very happy to play .....

Dehradun Zoo (1976) area of 25 ha located in Dehradun, 10 km away from Mussoorie Road. It is part of the Dehradun Forest Division. This zoological park is one of the main attractions in Dehradun after Jim Corbet and Rajaji Tiger Reserves.

Well maintained nice place to visit. A fine place for children. It is a relatively small zoo but worth a visit.

It's a small but lush green zoo. You will like the greenery and calmness of this place and it's not very hectic to walk around here like other big city zoo. It's 90 rs for adults which includes the aquarium and cactus garden.

Very Nice zoo good for children and adult person as well. Very good aquarium and snak. We enjoyed the cactus gardan as well.
