Kempty Falls

It is a natural site and very beautiful.
You can view it from two places on the same route. You should visit both.
In the middle look is different and at the end different.
At last a KUND is there to take bath if you want.
Water is clear and clean and cold.
Sprinkle on face gives good feelings.
Visit once at least.

Great view of a beautiful waterfall. Must visit place in mussoorie. Have a great market near it to buy antique things and food stalls also available. If you want to have fun i waterfall visit in summer time

Too good…however I went in mid November and temp was around 15 degree, it was not a peak time to visit but we enjoyed it to the fullest as it was not crowded… you can enjoy the other adventure rides like zip line ,rope cycling, rope climbing, boating…etc

Picturesque falls . Must visit during summer. You can take bath swim. In winter water is too chilly when I visited. Steps down would take 15 mins and climbing little more. Ropeway is available. It was not operational when I visited in December

A must visit place if you're in Mussoorie, especially in summer. You can take a dip in the waterfalls but be very cautious.

However, we visited in December, the weather was chilly. It was so surreal to be there at that moment. I loved the experience.

Amazing place and a must to visit. Please take extra pair of clothes if you are travelling so that you can enjoy bathing under waterfall. Dresses are available on rent also.If you are a shopping lover person no need to worry. But you have to walk a long distance. It definitely tests your stamina. There are play available for children. Boating, swimming available for adults and children. Its a must visit place.

Very beautiful place and falls itself is very attractive. It has a beautiful walkway market where you can buy some unique antiques and stuff. The must visit places in Mussoorie….

It's a beautiful place with a lot of scenic beauty. A must visit in Mussoorie. I went during non-holiday season and still it was crowded. There is a lift to go down to the falls and come back, if you want. It's better to take the tickets for both I e. going down and coming up as the price is same even if you just come up.

I really enjoyed the fall. Water was extreme 🥶cold. Locker facilities were available over there and it costs 50 rupees. Otherwise no entry ticket to visit kempty fall.

Kempty Falls: A Charming Gem with Room for Improvement

Nestled amidst the picturesque hills of Mussoorie, Kempty Falls is a popular tourist destination, especially during the monsoon season. While the cascading waterfall itself is undoubtedly charming, my experience was a mixed bag of beauty and drawbacks.

The Good:

Enchanting Waterfall: The gushing waterfall, plunging into a clear pool at its base, is a sight to behold. The misty spray and the surrounding greenery create a refreshing and picturesque ambiance.

Family-Friendly Activities: The area around the falls is dotted with stalls selling snacks and souvenirs, offering boating facilities, and even housing a mini amusement park. It's a great place for families to spend a fun-filled day.

Cable Car Ride: The Himdola ropeway offers a thrilling yet scenic ride up to the falls, providing stunning views of the valley below.

Visited twice in 4 years (both times in December ) and it is beautiful even in December. Just go prepared with your warm clothes (in layers) if visiting in the evening as after sunset it became very cold. Road is good till the waterfall. You ll have to take around 200 steps to reach waterfall after parking. There are some shopping options like wooden items store etc which are very good. I had purchased some unique wooden items from there in 2019 and asked them to courier to Pune as I had weight limit in flight and the parcel had come home before I reached back from my trip. Quality was also good as it is still there in my house @2023.

Food options are there like maggie, pakoda, tea, coffee etc. We had coffee exactly infront of waterfall. It's downstairs of the bridge where you can swim in front of waterfall. Coffee wasn't that awesome but it was good and much needed as it was past 6 pm and we needed some hot beverage. 😁

PS. Waterfall shows timing till 5 pm. Ofcourse the waterfall is open as there is not gate or barrier but the shops on the stairs close by 5.30-6 pm so it gets dark on the way down as there is no any other light provision there. So plan your visit before sunset.

The waterfall is so amazing,there are two options to reach one by ropeway and the other by stairs. The waterfall is really nice one can also dip into the water

Famous water fall at Massoorie.A main attraction and must visit place .Little away from main town. Water cascading at two cresent with huge quantity and falling below creating a nice pond where one can enjoy water splash and activity inside 2-3 ft deep water. Water flow is enjoyable through all seasons. Reachable through steps going downwards for about 20 min. or can be approached through ropeway ( chargeable). There is quite rush at weekends. Can take nice photos. We went in November end and Water was bit cold . All through steps down Shops are available for shoping of woolen clothes, articles and eatables. Easily spend hour here.

Natures lovers must visit this place , cool breeze around & small droplets of water falling on your face like snow fall .

Natural fall clear water ..... Proper picnic spot in summer time but in winter 🥶 quiet cold for us other wise it's awsm ...

Kempty falls in situated in mussoorie,a beautiful water fall where you can visit by walking or a ropeway cable car (Rs 200 for round trip). In this water fall visitors can take a bath with fun activities.

This is a must visit place in mussoorie, you can either reach here by ropeway or by stairs
The ropeway charges around 200 per person.
Ropeway is not too long so you can skip the ropeway and use the ropeway at bhatta falls as it is long and you can get an amazing view.

Excellent fall. Ropway trolly facility is there Ticket Rs. 200 per person .

I wanted to spend more time here, it is a less crowded place and I loved it! Met a dog here who followed us to the top and stopped wherever we stopped, when we said bye he understood that as well!

It took morethan 2 hrs to go and 2 hrs come back by a car. So much traffic on holidays. But the view was worth it. Its a city in the clouds
