Amazing experience. Excellent service and delicious food. We did hiking and camping at Mainebass in 2018, dec. Recently in November, we did Okhrey- Hilley- Barsey and the owner arranged everything for us. It was a beautiful experience. Thanks to our host and the owner of Monal Home Stay.

We had an unforgettable experience in Monal homestay. Spacious rooms with great views, the owner, Ikshaji is a gentleman. Though the cottages do not have attached toilet, the newer rooms have toilets equipped with all modern amenities. The benevolent nature of Ikshaji, tasty food served, this pet friendly homestay is a must visit in Uttarey.

Thankful to Iksha for arranging such a beautiful trek to Phokteydara. The entire team he sent along with us was very co operative and well behaved. None of us felt lack of anything at any point of time. Loved the whole experience.

It's a wonderful experience to stay in Monal Homestay. Good food and peaceful stay.We ask for some Sikkimese authentic food and they provide some dishes very happily. The owner of the stay Mr Iksha is graceful and kind person.Every person of his family is very helpful. Mr.Iksha arranges meny treks from Uttarey.We had a trek to Mainibas falls and he arrenged a most experienced guide Mr.Purba with us .Extremely well behaved and helpful person.the rooms are beautiful. We and our friends had a great time in Monal Homestay and we love to visit again

One of the best homestay in uttrey. Experienced a good time. Awesome view from balcony. Spacious clean good cozy rooms. Hospitality and service is really good. You can try local, traditional sikkimese food. Food quality is very good. Owner is very friendly. Behaviour is very polite and respectful. They arrange many hike and adventure activities like trek, camping etc. Owner can customise the trip according with your type of tour and interest like activities, food etc. Monastery, waterfalls, Hillary park, phoktey dara trek, versey rododrendron sanctuary, chayatal, lake etc nearby.

A quaint country cottage tucked away in a corner of West Sikkim at Uttarey, Monal Home Stay is the touchstone of hospitality and ambience. The stay was comfortable, the cuisine a gastronomic delight with local home cooked food and the courtesy & hospitality was touching. I completed a 3 day trek organised by Iksha and was extremely well taken care of, during the trek also.

I stay 3 nights, just me with the family. and it was realy good time.

It is an outstanding place to be honest. Was there in February and was amazed. The behaviour of the host, delicious food and the overall ambience, everything was top notch. The owner Iksha ji also is a thorough gentleman and helped us on a trek nearby and our driver's accommodation as well. If you want to enjoy with family or friends in Uttareu, Monal Home Stay has to be your destination..

Rooms are good and clean , location is perfect for amazing views of green mountains , the polite behavior of ikshaji (owner) will be unforgettable and he helped us immediately on issues regarding our journey through share car to reach there and made us feel free like a family , i would love to go there again and again for taking a fresh air , food was simple and mouthwatering , the local veggies they served was just perfect for exploring local food ❤ in one words the whole experience was just amazing , just give it a try 🙌

Great Hospitality. Owner Iksha ji is a Polite, Well behaved and Caring host. We did a small trek to Barsey Rhododendron Sanctuary and there were 2 babies in our group. Iksha ji arranged every thing so good that we did not face any problems. Rooms, Food and ambience of Monal Homestay is astounding.
