The Elgin Mount Pandim - Pelling - Heritage Resort & Spa (Since 1942)

Excellent rooms, we stayed with full board as it was recommended. Food was also quite good and services were also excellent. The staff is very polite and always helpful.

It's one of the best luxury stay experiences I ever had. The quaint town of Peilling was a perfect location. The view from the rooms is spectacular. The hotel staff is extremely hospitable. The aesthetics are heart warming, the two cute doggos on the property adds to its charm. The monastery is located at a walking distance. I would highly recommend this stay especially for a couple.

i have stay with my wife and our small daughter 4nights on 14th to 18th Feb'2024at Elgin Mount Pandim hotel of upper pelling, beside of Manestry. on 14th feb our 11th annivarsary so i just enjoy with my fmly. with great kanchanjangha view from balcony. we have booked threw online Prem Suit Cottage on 1st floor. room r very big with very comfort bedding of king size of bed, with room heater, drassing room, big bathroom with bathtub and mordern toiet. great view of kanchanjangha from our room pvt. balcony. every day at early morning. we enjoy at night diner at room with fireplace, and watch movie in big led tv, wify also available, hotel staff r most sikkimis ladies and they most helpfull and polite behave with smile. all staffs and manager very good behave. they also kid friendly. very big lawn ,parking area, big and modern resturent. some room downstep of hotel main building. two dog and one cat of hotel secuirity, 24hr generator facility. one monestry opposit of hotel.food r very costly but all food very tasty and many choisable item. huge breakfast items for morning.we have full enjoy at pelling, and if we will go to pelling we defenetly stay here.

If you are someone willing to travel you will not regret choosing this heritage hotel in gantok with excellent food and wonderful hospitality. This property once used to be a royal guest house back then Sikkim has monarchy.

Lovely hotel with landscaped lawns and walkways. Excellent and friendly staff. Food could be a little better but it is of quite a decent standard.

I recently had a great experience staying at Elgin Mount Pandim in Pelling. The location of the hotel is simply amazing, offering breathtaking views. The cottages are nice and spacious, although the rooms themselves are of normal size. Unfortunately, we couldn't open the windows due to insects. However, the staff was excellent, providing friendly and attentive service throughout our stay. The food served at the hotel was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. One unique aspect was the presence of two dogs in a separate area, which added a delightful touch for dog lovers. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.

If you are looking for a luxury stay with an excellent view of Kanchenjunga this is the one . We stayed at premier cottage which has beautiful view of mountains and are very spacious. Staff are courteous and friendly and the resort has beautiful flowers all around. Tea needs improvement for sure as we ordered twice but did not get good one ( update : try masala tea instead of ginger tea)
Dinner and breakfast was very tasty. Overall a great comfortable stay.

We spent New Year here and I must say it was excellent. It was an epitome of hospitality. The rooms were squeaky clean with a lovely garden view and all amenities in place. They had a gala dinner for all guests, and a sweet dance and music programme where local kids had put up a heartwarming show. The efforts taken by hotel was absolutely lovely and much appreciated. They really went out of their way to make it a warm New Year’s Eve. The breakfast spread was also very good and overall one can definitely plan on staying at the property. Of course, due to New Year everything was a little more overpriced than I would have liked to pay for the experience but then again it was completely fine given that we had no complaints in particular during our stay.

Best hotel in this part of Sikkim. Previously owned by the Royal Family of Sikkim now converted to a hotel and owned by Elgin Group of hotel. It's a heritage property and close to nature. It's a beautiful property around 2 km from the city of pelling surrounded by greenery. The hotel has 30 rooms including cottages. It has a beautiful garden area where you can sit and enjoy nature . The monastery is next to the hotel . Room prices are reasonable if you compare with a heritage property. The price of food is on the lower side. The hotel has two beautiful dogs also.

We stayed at this property for five days about 20 years back. Then the hotel was run by Govt. of Sikkim . Before 1975 this was the summer retreat of the royal family of Sikkim.

Very beautiful heritage property at the top of a mountain overlooking valleys and mountains on both sides. The rooms are well appointed and the hotel grounds are well manicured with many beautiful flowers. There are also two sweet and playful Samoyeds which you can play with if you're a dog lover.

An historical summer home to the royal family of Sikkim, this property is no less than royalty even now. It’s beautiful inside and even more outside.

We visited for coffee and they made us fall in love with not only that but the place overall. We would be planning another trip to stay there.

They also have two adorable super furry angels named Coco and Cara ( hope I didn’t misspell).

Went to the place for dinner and it was amazing. The ambiance was gorgeous and the staff was extremely kind and just perfect. Our food came fast and it was lovely. The egg curry was absolutely fantastic, it was the best egg curry i hav had. Had an amazing experience. Definitely must go.

This hotel is located at an amazing place with views of Khanchenzondga from your room. Food is very fresh and organic. They have a beautiful couple of Russian dogs who are very friendly with kids

I don't know where to begin - this hotel is simply beautiful with a spectacular view. The lobby and rooms are stunning. We were given a warm welcome upon arrival. The verandah was perfect to have our breakfast. There was a nice spread at breakfast and dinner. Very classy hotel; would love to go back and spend a week there.

This was the highlight of our Sikkim trip. Beautiful property, tasteful decor and soothing calmness. The staff is very lovely and not to forget Coco and Cara, the two beauties! This is a pet friendly hotel, bonus!!

We visited Pelling only for this hotel. This is the third Elgin hotel we are visiting after Kalimpong and Darjeeling.
As expected, the hotel stands out with its hospitality and decor. The USP of the hotel is the view of Kanchenjunga range from the suites. The staffs are very cordial and reachable. The hotel also has spa facility, a multi cuisine restaurant, billiards pool and a well maintained lawn.
The hotel does not have any travel desk. Local travel agency has to be contacted for reaching the hotel or for sight seeing.
