I recently had the pleasure of staying at this homestay with friends and family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The view from the location was breathtaking, adding to the charm of our stay. The accommodations were cozy and comfortable, providing us with a warm retreat from the chilly weather. The food served was delicious and hearty, perfectly complementing the ambiance of the homestay. However, what truly stood out was the hospitality we received from the hosts. Their warmth and attentiveness made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Overall, our time at this homestay played a significant role in making our holidays truly beautiful and memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway at Sikkim.

Mountain View Sosing HomeStay is the ultimate experience one can have to experience first hand nature, crisp mountain breeze hitting your face and an extraordinary experience to be in the lap of mountains. With all this, comes an added bonus; Jigme and his truly amazing family who are so prompt to arrange just about everything. The food from their family kitchen is cooked on a traditional chulha (on firewood). They pampered my family so much from food to bonfires, their lovely son Dawa entertaining us with his soothing voice over the karaoke and what not. After travelling to 17 countries and 26 Indian states, the experience with all these real world teachers at Sosing will be on my top 5 lists for sure. Totally short of words to list every experience. Love to Spike the Great Dane pup. Until we meet again above the monastery, Thankyou to the Bhutia Family.

The viewpoints, the calmness, the guest experience, everything is just spot on, we call the owner UNCLE and I must say he and his family persons are so kind and they all treated us like family, we miss you namkha and kesang ❤

This is just about the perfect place that you would require on your trip to Sikkim this time. Two things stand out, the view from the homestay is surreal and the people, entire family of Mr Jigmey is just amazing. They will make you feel more than welcome, treat you as a family member and will make your stay as one of their own. I would thank the entire Dorjee family, Mr Jigmey, Chumki Auntie, their daughter and their sons, for hosting us like one of their own.
Talking of food, very authentic, local Sikkemese food. super delicious and authentic flavours. We also got great help from them, as local guide and lots of suggestions for our itinerary.
And not to miss, the awesome and handsome Spiky and cuite Tom who will accompany you during your stay.
The location is just the best with scenic view to all sides of the stay.
Definitely recommended if you wish for an authentic local true Sikkimese experience amd make some awesome memories.

I had a wonderful, very memorable five-night stay at Jigmeji’s and Chumki aunty’s homestay in Kewzing. The location and the view are unbeatable: waking up to the expansive mountain view, with monasteries dotting the landscape, and the mountains towering in the distance, was a sheer treat. The food was absolutely terrific - local vegetables, pickles, delicious momos, all made with so much love and care. Aunty, uncle, Yangchen and every member of the Sosing homestay family were so generous, kind and helpful. I would highly recommend this homestay! It’s a hidden gem in South Sikkim and made my time in Sikkim ever so more memorable. I, for one, will be back again!

Everything about this place is wonderful. The family that runs it is very sweet, helpful and do an excellent job of running the homestay. The food is absolutely heavenly, not to mention very clean and healthy. The rooms are clean, well equipped and cosy and the location and views of this homestay are superlative. You will be hard pressed to find a better, more peaceful and beautiful location even at 5 star properties. We spent a very nourishing 6 days at Sosing and hope to come back again soon. Such a blessing to have found this place 🙏🏻

Very rarely can one refer to a place as "heaven on earth"..... Well for us, we must admit that Sosing Homestay has the best location with heavenly views of snow clad peaks. The homestay is located in a huge property with a lot of nature around. The rooms are well planned, hence, you can see the mighty mountains laying on your bed. The family, Jigmey Ji, his son and daughter in law along with Kajal and Aman made us feel nothing less than family. We were planning to goto Pelling after Kewzing, but stayed on at Sosing as the place was just too gorgeous. The home cooked food was excellent and the service was on point. The vegetables are all grown in their garden adding to the rustic feel of the place. We did not have to ask for anything, it was all just made available. The host and his family ensured that we had a good time, and lit campfires on all evenings as it was cold and we were also ushering in 2022. The place is so gorgeous that you can just spend days sitting there doing your thing without wanting to step out and do touristy sightseeing. Abundant sunshine during the day and a fire to keep you warm at night, Sosing is an undiscovered gem. In the morning when you wake up and see the snow clad mountains, you will feel you can touch it just by stretching out your hands. We are grateful to Jigmey Ji and his family to host us and making our stay so peaceful and warm. I will definitely go back and stay at Sosing soon.

We just completed a 3 night stay here at the Sosing Homestay in end December 2020.. We'd booked via AirBnb and had an amazing experience.

Location: Brilliant location in Ravangla on the way to Pelling. The idea for us was to stay in a homestay away from the city and as we had our own car we were looking for a stay just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The Google maps location isn't perfect given that it's the mountains and windy roads but get to the location and ask someone for the Kewzing Senior Secondary School and take the lane right next to it and will lead you to the homestay. The famous Buddha park is about 12 mins away by car and pelling is about an hour by car. We drove a Zoomcar and plenty of parking is available at the homestay.

Facilities: Well designed cottages having 3 ensuite rooms with attached washrooms and an outdoor seating area. The beds are quite comfortable, heaters are provided and the blankets are cozy.

Internet and mobile connectivity is tricky. Reliance Jio works for best and Airtel has a (weak) 4g connection as well.

Host: Mr Jigmey Bhutia and his family are amazing hosts, going so far out of their way to take care of their guests. They are super caring and the home-cooked food is brilliant. Aside from the brilliant views of the mountains, it's the warmth and care that Mr Jigmey and his family extends to their guests that defined our memories of this part of Sikkim.

Highly recommended if you're looking for a quiet nice homestay with amazing views and super warm hosts!

Sosing Homestay is a great place to unwind and eat some soulful organic food. It has a magnificent view of Kanchenjunga and other great peaks.
Jigmey ji and his family were very hospitable and caring making my experience unforgettable. Would like to return someday.
Recently they have got Airtel my wifi which works pretty well in the homestay. Another plus for people who need internet connectivity. Jio and Airtel mobile network has good reception as well.

Best place to stay if you are planning for South Sikkim. Only place you get authentic Sikkim local food. Will get to view K2 mountain peaks from your room, if weather is clear.. just go for it.

One of the best homestays I have stayed in. The host family is very sweet. Very accommodating and you are taken care of really well. Just book the place. :)

This place offers people to enjoy the beauty of the nature, to relax their minds and experience life with only positivity, surrounded by six 6 +holy temples and the great himilayas,with a very rich flora and fauna, and at the end refreshing one's mind and getting experiencing the place like your own home and what it would be like living a lifestyle as a sikkimes and how peaceful the world could be.

Amazing view, away from the usual hustle and bustle. Get to see the Kanchanjunga mountain from the balcony. Lovely host.

Their place is one of the best place to stay in Sikkim in my entire trip, clean village environment with picturesque view of mountain...colourfull flowers....you must visit this holyplace and stay for 2 to 3 days...👍

Nice place, with awe inspiring view of both green top and white peak mountains, to spend a few days of tranquility and solitude. Excellent hosts
