Nice cute little fort ensconced in-between modern buildings. Fascinating. Wish they had shared more information about the history of the fort through more writings/boards etc. Could learn absolutely nothing, about the place, while i was there - there were tonnes of ASI boards warning of us doing damage etc. None-the-less, thankfully they have preserved it well.

Beautiful colonial fort facing the Arabian sea, it has a small church and a lighthouse within the fort, there are a few buildings that are used as govt offices... The 300 year old canon carrier places as you enter the fort is really an antic relic.. loved this place...

This fort is located on the banks of Thalassery Beach. That is the main attraction. From the fort, we can see the sea. The fort is situated very near to the Thalassery bus stand and requires only 10 minutes of walking.

The nearest major railway station is in Thalassery, and that too is only 10 minutes away from the fort on walking. Thalassery Fort is not large, 30 minutes to an hour is sufficient to explore it. the entry to the fort is free .

Such a quaint place, it's a treat for eyes that's seeking history. This fort has n number of secret pathways that leads to sea. The bricks of this fort are really old from 1700s. Must visit place if you love history.

- Some area's in the fort is not open to the public. They could have open it with appropriate amount of fees It might open the possibility of knowing the place much better amidst helps tourism.

- Entrance of the fort is not senior citizen friendly. Wheelchair entrance is not possible

- Congested Parking results getting in and out could be cumbersome during the heavy traffic time in the city

It's a well maintained fort. Must visit place in thalassery(Entrance is free). Evening time is the best time to visit. Try to get there before the closing time or else gates will be closed and people won't be allowed inside but can only leave from there
