It’s been a lovely experience. I am truly thankful for my treatments that helped me immensely. I took a chance and went against my allopathy doctor and surgery, now I am thankful to dr Sai n his team for their technique and keeping alive the legacy of ayurveda since 9 generations! It’s absolutely incredible, holistic and genuine place. The beautiful scenery around its compound is a bonus n soothes soul as one heals physically. Highly recommended to anyone who needs a reboot physically mentally or spiritually.

Where do I begin, except to say that I feel blessed to have found Dr. Sai Krishna and this Ayurvedic wellness center. It was everything (and more) that my body needed.
The depth of knowledge is steeped in lineage and ancient texts but along side that, is the very family oriented environment. That’s what all the doctors and staff felt like to me - so caring, courteous, helpful, non judgemental and extremely understanding of my pain and fears.
I complete this healing journey, full of gratitude for Dr. Sai, The Changethu hospital and every person I came across in the last two weeks.

Outstanding hospital.

A brilliant place for a proper recovery from any physical ailments/ ortho issues.Had a severe shoulder Pain. For almost 6 months. Couldn't raise my arm. Chronic. Thankfully Dr.Sai helped me and I am absolutely back to fit now. Moreover its a detox place. I stayed here for 11 days. They have a holistic approach in the treatment they offer.
Besides recovering from the shoulder issue, it also was a rejuvenating experience. All my other issues like acidity, skin issues etc were addressed very well. Have decided to come here once every year at least for body detox treatment its simply outstanding.
And its a serene location n amazing view.
And the entire staff is lovely in their service. A brilliant experience. My best regards to Dr. Sai Krishna.

I have been suffering from severe knee pain for a couple of years and was even advised total knee replacement in both my knees. We heard about " Changethu Ayurveda hospital" from a few friends who were treated here and are now completely cured of their back problems. So I thought I would give it a try too !!! This is my first experience with Ayurveda treatment. I was admitted on June 25 th 2023 and Dr. Sai Krishna advised me a 11 day treatment. I am feeling a lot better and hope to get even better by the time I complete my three months. medication.
My experience at "Changethu" was a great one. The place is so beautiful.... very clean, green and quiet.... It is more like a resort. One can spend a lot of time just sitting in the balcony watching the river. The simple vegetarian food which is served piping hot is like home cooked food and very tasty. All the staff there are very friendly and pleasant. A special mention has to be made about a few people I interacted with every day..... My therapists, Anitha and Sandhya who did an excellent job, Latha who brought all our food to the room in time, Manju who kept our room sparkling clean and Sarasamma. A big thankyou to Dr. Meera and Dr. Anjana who checked upon me every single day and of course to Dr. Sai Krishna and Dr. Vipinachandran..... Doctors with magic in their hands !!! Thankyou🙏

Taken 9 days treatment for backpain under Dr. Saikrishnan. Fully recovered from barely walking stage to completely normal stage.. Stayed with family, wife and 9 year old son. Food was excellent and rooms were like resort. Dr. Vipinachandran and Dr. Saikrishnan are so gifted and thanks for their magical treatment.

Absolutely gem of a place - beautiful surroundings and nice people. I am recovering fast from lower back pain after the two week treatment with Dr. Vipinachandran Nair. Highly recommended for any one looking for authentic ayurveda treatment.

I dont give five stars unless I am convinced that the place is exceptional. This is one ! If possible I could have given more.
I am an old case of low backache and sciatica. I was considering surgical procedure after Three weeks of confinement and physiotherapy reaching desperation. It was at that moment of despair that I came to know of this institution. Nothing short of a well appointed resort, it is a complete ayurvedic treatment centre thronged by people who have stories of miracles to narrate. I may be the latest.
Headed by Doctor Vipinachandran, this institution harnesses three centuries of traditional practices and experience and offers it for the wellbeing of patients. It caters for both out-patient and in-patient treatment. I am admitted here now.
The day starts with Mr Gopi who dutifully serves morning tea. He also brings curtains down on the day by serving us dinner, either traditional medicated Kanji or chapatti. Ever smiling Ms Latha serves traditional Kerala cusine for breakfast and lunch. The food is vegetarian, always served hot and in fact tasty.
Dr Anju, the resident medical officer visit next, collecting data required for monitoring progress of the patient is collected. This is followed by the visit of the senior doctor, Dr Sindhu who evaluates the patient. Classical Ayurveda treatment by two well trained therapists fits in.
I was attended to by Mr Anil and Mr Venu, both experts with a sense of timing. The process they put me through leaves me exhausted; but after a good sleep that normally and inevitably follows, I feel rejuvenated.
Call it testimony, I came in shuffling my steps barely able to stand and in severe pain. By the end of the day and some intervention I was up back to my normal strides and walking. Many call him the miracle doctor. I don't believe in miracles but yes ;I experienced one.
My wife is also undergoing treatment here . She has only words of praise for Dr Vipinachandran and the two therapists Ms Kavitha and Ms Sandhya, who attended to her. Very professional and committed, both the lady therapists do a tremendous job. Special mention must be made of the committed caring Ms Sarasamma who dotes on her like her own daughter.
Housekeeping is an area that deserves praise. Ms Manju ensures that the room remains spic and span at all times. It was heartening to see her doing all her work always with a smile. That calls for commitment of exceptional standards.
The front office is efficiently handled by Ms Aswathy. Ms Usha the PRO is on the move always. In fact the entire set of staff is characterized by courtesy and quick response.
The place is very scenic and offers a beautiful space for walking. The rooms are well appointed, spacious and airy. There are different rooms to cater for different needs. One needs to be in touch to get a room for In-patient treatment since it is heavily booked.

Though Ayurveda is at home in Kerala, as one who is wedded to cause and effect, I often considered this line of treatment subordinate or inferior to the widely accepted allopathy. The visit here might change it. Ayurvedic expertise, mostly confined to Gharana or the vaidyan's (traditional doctor) family, is one art that has not become science because it has not been authentically documented and shared to be replicated by others.
There is something unique in the manner in which medicines are prepared dispensed and applied. There are general concerns about the ingrediants in medicine .There lies the difference. The treatment is a continuum of traditional wisdom and invocation of the spiritual. I have experienced healing that I was looking for. Since cure and wellbeing is very personal I cannot recommend it as the "ultimate" but may advice trying. But then, it's your call and yours alone.

It is the best hospital for spine cord. Actually I was suggested operation of spine in pune but my one kerla friend Raghundan Achari suggested me this hospital. So come here.
Dr Sai krishna sir told me properly about issues and start treatment. All staff house keeping is excellent. I am 100% sure now i will be cure of illness. My 4 more days treatment is balance but over all very excellent experience here.

Hi all who interested in quality of treatment at Changethu Ayurveda Hospital, we experienced course of 7 days for adults, and 9 days treatment for child, and we can say the quality of treatment at the possible appropriate high level. Some therapists I found exceeding expectations, talented, devoted professionals - born to give health to people. Doctors well educated, attentive, caring, the main doctor is treatment-focused, smart, kind calm person. Some results you can quickly feel, the other ones as we understand gradually come after completion of herbal medication course. We are looking forward to see the results In near future. This is an authentic ayurveda hospital where the diagnosis and treatment are genuine. I consulted Dr Sai Krishna prior to my coming and sent my MRI reports for my L3 L4 disc prolapse problem who responded and planned for a 11 day treatment at their hospital. Rooms are damn good and the place resembles a decent resort on a river front. Food was pure vegetarian and served at our room. Treatment included medicines, oil baths and some massages for all the days. It’s a very friendly environment and on the first day I had difficulty in climbing steps, while returning home there was very good improvement. Sciatica pain was totally cured. I strongly recommend this place for spine related ailments. Excellent Ayurvedic doctors and highly commendable supporting staff make the place a top class healthcare centre. We came to the hospital after a refrence from one of my relative. For the knee and spine problem of my wife. She was having sever pain while walking, though she could barly walk. Had spine pain and numbness on left leg. Had to take wheel chair support.today is her 10 th day. And has improved 70 percent. I also took treatment for SPONDILISES an knee pain for 7 days. It has been cured

It’s my cousin Bittu who shared the details of Changethu Ayurveda Hospital when he saw me in tremendous pain at my lower back. I was barely able to stand and was walking with a tilt at times towards front and at times towards side.
I decided to go ahead and fixed appointment with the hospital which I got on 23rd Jan’23. I was admitted there for 9 days. The reception was warm and friendly and within no time was allotted the Room. Later on the duty Dr Ms Sindhu and Dr Anandavalli came and enquired all details of the ailment probably to be shared with the Senior.
Later on was the visit of Dr Vipinachandra the man with magical hands. Sir had examined my backbone areas in traditional method and later concluded we will set it right don’t worry, We will start the treatment immediately.
I was subjected to various types of panchakarma treatment like kizhis, pizhichils etc by trained therapists Anil and Venu apart from taking internal medicines. The stay in the hospital was homely which the dedicated staff ensured. Meals are Vegetarian and is served Hot. Gopi chetan takes care of bed tea, dinner and providing warm drinking water. The rooms are kept spic and span by Ms Manju always with a smile in her face. Ms Latha ensures you are provided with Breakfast, Lunch and Evening tea timely. I was discharged with great relief of the back pain and able to walk straight. Dr Vipinachandra is continuing the traditional legacy of Ayurveda treatment and is the 8th generation duly supported by his son and daughter the 9th generation.

We came with a back & knee issue. Met with Dr Sai Krishna & stayed at Changethu Ayurvedic Hospital at Thumpamon for a 9 day treatment as per Doc's advise. This place is like a resort surrounded with nature's greenery. The Achenkovil river flows right beside this place that adds to the serene view. We had a very comfortable stay with fresh food and good service. Staff here are very polite & helpful. Cleanliness is maintained throughout. The therapy staff are so professional & ensure our comfort throughout. The duty doctors came in to check on us regularly. On the whole we felt rejuvenated. My sincere thanks to Dr Vipinchandra & Dr Sai Krishna for their incredible work.
