Konni Eco Tourism, specifically the Elephant Shelter, is a wonderful place to visit in Kerala, India. It is known for its efforts in conserving and protecting elephants. You can observe these majestic creatures up close, learn about their habitat, and even participate in activities like elephant rides and bathing. It's an incredible experience for animal lovers and a great opportunity to appreciate the beauty of these gentle giants.

It is a good place to visit with family and kids, entry fees for Adults INR 50 and for kids 20, car parking fee also to be paid while taking the ticket. At present there are 6 elephants available including a baby. We can spend a maximum of one hour and kids can be involved in small activities in the park. More activities to be included for the kids otherwise they will get bored. The elephant gallery, 3D theatre and museum are another area to cover in this time. The AV room is one of the different areas where we can feel the real forest atmosphere. For taking a break a snack bar with a coffee shop is available. Staff are very cooperative and manage the customers. Washrooms for men's and women's available and it's maintained well. Also they are providing services for eco tourism and need to book in advance.

The park's commitment to elephant preservation is evident in every corner, from the informative exhibits to the guided tours that highlight the importance of these creatures in our ecosystem. It's a place where both kids and adults can enjoy a meaningful, eye-opening experience while supporting a vital cause."

If you are an animal lover and a great fan of elephants then it is a must visit place. They were kept in enclosures for tourist safety and were never harmed. It is great initiative to protect these animals from hunters and poachers. There is a museum inside the reserve. Good for children to learn about these animals and respect them.

The great place which depicts the history and the classification of elephants.
They also provide relaxing ashoka forest where we can sit and relax.
Also there is a small park which will surely be a time spender for the little ones.

Great place for kids to show them elephants. A small cafeteria and play park is also there. There is museum as well and they play different animal voices too. Highly recommend if you are looking to do something with kids. The ticket prices are also reasonable (40$ for adults & 15$ for kids starting 5years).

Currently 6 elephants are there

Must visit place for kids , who loves elephant.

Good atmosphere

Should say , Staff taking good care of elephants and place up to good standards. So happy to see that atmosphere there, comparing to kodanad and guruvayur elephant kotta.

But road to reach there is now under constructions may be 15 km road is utter waste...Very bad condition...

Good parking ground..

Its good place for kids to see elephants. I have been there many times over the last 25 years and have seen it develop into this eco tourist and elephant reserve. Now its more structured and has a good restaurant, a shop and also a small museum. The staff is friendly and helpful. There were over 7 elephants and also a baby elephant which was a delight. Earlier there used to elephant ride. They have good parking space and its worth to go there with kids and enjoy this attraction.

It's a good and calm place and if you are a nature lover, you'll surely would love this place. We can see elephants within their cage. There are biographical details of the elephant on the side of cage door. Within the elephant reserve you can see elephant museum which contains a lot of informative details of elephants that we may not know. We can see an whole elephant skeleton and equipments related with them. It's a good suggestion for study tour as it's informative as well as a beautiful place ✨❤..
There is a canteen within the reserve so you can enjoy the scenario with a cup of ice-cream. And if you visit this place just try to visit Adavi too as it's more wonderful than you think..
Loved the place very much 💖💖...
