This is a very beautiful and ancient temple. Sri Aprameya swamy is the main deity. Ambegaalu Krishna, Lakshmi, Sridevi Bhudevi sametha Narayana are also worshipped within the temple. The premises are clean and well maintained.
Main entrance of the temple is so captivating due to the intricate architecture and the bougainvillea flowers.
There is a Anjaneya Swamy temple outside Aprameya swamy temple. Please do visit. There are a few shops outside the temple where you can buy toys and small idols of Lord Krishna.

Dedicated to Lord Aprameya, a form of Lord Vishnu, the temple is known for its architectural and religious significance.

Temple is very calming without much of a rush and we see Lord Krishna in a toddler form, and time flies just seeing him.

When we visited, a couple was singing devotional Tamil songs, and it just made the ambiance divine.

Autos are available from the Channapatna Railway station to this temple.

A very beautiful ancient temple near channapatna, worshipping lord Krishna in the form of baby. The main shrine is of lord channakeshava. There are few shrines for goddess mahalakshmi and Lord vishnu with his family. One of the main shrine is lord Krishna's in the form of a baby crawling with butter in his hand. People worship here seeking blessings for children. Temple is cool and silent. No words to describe the beauty of rajagopura. Temple carvings are very beautiful. There is also a hanuman temple next to this temple, dont miss it. You can buy wooden toys from near by shops. Temple timings is from 8-1pm and 4-8.30pm. There is very good parking space also, and charge 10rs for it.

One of the 108 Divya deshams. Beautiful ancient temple. It houses Aprameya Swami, Aravindavalli and Navaneetha Krishnan. The Krishna has taken crawling position (the locals call it Ambegal ) . People pray here for child birth.
This temple also has Sri Ramanujacharya, Koorathazhvar and Sri Lokamacharya.

Plenty of parking space for cars. They collect Rs.10/- and there are few shops for buying Chanapatna wooden toys. A small eatery is also there. We are Heerekai Bajji which tasted yum. 😋

It takes 40 mins from Mysuru Expressway starting point. (Approx).

The Aprameya Swamy temple was built by Chola Emperor Rajendra Simha around the eleventh century. The architecture of the temple is magnificent and worth a visit. It is built in Dravidian style; the temple is facing east with five tiered Raja Gopura which is decorated with the Dashavatara. The main deity is Aprameya (Sri Krishna). Also in the sanctum are Goddess Lakshmi and Ambegalu (crawling) Krishna. It's 60 km from Bangalore and approximately 80 km from Mysore on NH 275 (OLD Road), however can be reached through Bengaluru Mysuru Expressway after taking a Uturn at Channapatna.

It’s a quaint little temple in a small town of chennapatnam. People religiously believe in the wishes that Lord Krishna grants. There are a collection of deities and take your time with each section.
If you want to do any seva please call and book in advance. There is an option to do tulabhara seva with your kids.

After visiting the temple you can grab a quick bite from the Kamat Lokaruchi hotel close by. It’s very clean and the food is really good
