Had an exceptional stay at Woods Berry Resort! Chandru, the manager, played a pivotal role in ensuring our trip comfortable and truly memorable. His attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction added a personal touch to the experience. The resort itself offered a serene atmosphere, top-notch amenities, and a perfect blend of nature and comfort. Highly recommend, thanks to Chandran's excellent management.

During our recent trip to Ooty, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at Woodberry Residency. We were a group of nine and booked a 3 BHK apartment. I must say, it exceeded our expectations. The caretaker, Chandru, and his team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. The highlight of our experience was the delicious and reasonably priced food they served. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner from here throughout our two-day trip. It's important to note that it's not a hotel or resort, but a service apartment. You won't find additional amenities here, but you will have spacious and well-maintained rooms with clean washrooms. They also provide a kettle upon request. This place is within walking distance of the botanical garden and the Tibetan market, yet it's tucked away in a peaceful location. Car parking is available but no space for bigger vehicles like traveler. Highly recommended!

We stayed here recently for 2 nights during late December. We had a comfortable stay here. The hotel staff was really helpful and prompt in getting things done. The place is at a central location in Ooty without all the hustle bustle.
You can also get a good view at the roof.
We had a 2 BHK apartment. The rooms were clean and spacious, but few negative with the rooms. First, we could hear the noise of neighbours so not the best for sleep. In general the rooms didn’t have good noise isolation.
Second, the beds had 2 mattresses instead of a single one, and so with a child or couples when you tend to share space on a bed, it was not comfortable.

You can blindly go with this. It is near to the botanical gardens and Tibetan market. The hotel is very well maintained. And you get 24/7 support from the reception. We absolutely felt like home.

1. We were a group of seven and the place just fit us perfect with nice bedrooms and a large Hall with dining table
2. Location of this residency is just good as it is away from the roadside noise but is well place just 100m from the main road.
3. The staff are very polite and friendly in nature almost attending to our requests within no time
4. Rooms were neat & clean
5. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend this to others.

Its a good place to stay. Near/walkable distance from Botanical garden. Supper spacious rooms, enough of parking space. Cleanliness can be improved also maintenance. Staffs are very professional, descent and helpful. Chadru and Alex are very nice person and helped us a lot. A must recommended property to spend your holidays.

Excellent location. Very close to botanical garden and other spots. Rooms are awesome and wonderful gesture. Home made excellent foods. Parking facility available. Manager chandru- very friendly and ground to earth person.

Woodberry was a nice place, situated at the top of Ooty, we enjoyed the beauty of nature just a step out of the room. Room was very neat and nice, the customer service is fantastic. They advised the things so well , from the beginning to the end like finding the best vehicle for commuting, advising about the places , giving us the exact map work of Ooty and etc., Thanks to Gopal sir who guided us very well. And thanks to the team 😊😊😊😊

Simply superb residency. Very good place near by Botanical Garden just walkable by 5 mins. Hot water always available by geysers. Kitchen is available by demand. Rooms are all spacious. Big to small families can relax and enjoy their stay, 24x7 cab facility available. Well cleaned rooms. Staffs are friendly. Parking space exists :-) .Prices are varies according to seasons.

The residency is at a walkable distanec from the botanical garden and the local market place. The service is just excellent.
I would suggest keeping a 5 or 10 litre water barrel or filter in each room or keeping a water dispenser or filter near the reception so that the guests can just fill water as and when required.

Our family stayed here on 29&30-march-2023. Very close location to botanical garden. Room was nice. Very reasonable price. Idly and tea tasted fine. Propmt service by alex. Care taker Chandru supported nicely. I highly recommend for family.

Stayed with family for 3 days n 2 nights. Very suitable for family.
1) 24 hours hot water facility available.
2) They allowed for early check-in.
3) Parking facility is available.
4) Food taste good.
5) Very close to botanical garden.

Stayed at this place with family for 3 nights. This place is very close to botanical garden. The hotel caretaker Mr. Chandru is very helpful and picks your call any time. Support staff Alex and another person also very friendly and helpful. This hotel has limited food menu but food is ok. You have some restaurants at walking distance. Rooms were spacious and linen were clean. Each room has geyser, so you have access to hot water anytime which is very important in cold weather. You should be aware that Ooty is plastic free so you don’t get 1 litre bottled drinking water. You can either buy 5 litre can or use water provided by hotel. Overall pleasant stay during our Ooty trip. Thanks to all staff.

Woodberry Residency is such a wonderful property it will make your Ooty trip more memorable. The 1 BHK was so spacious it feels like you are home. The staff Chandru,Shiva and others are very good. The room service was quick 24/7 . The attached cab , taxi and auto are also good. Very reasonable compared to other travels available in Ooty. THANK YOU !!

It's an awesome experience there.I would definitely recommend this for all. Safe and healthy environment. The view from ur room is very peaceful. The rooms are well cleaned and maintained.an unknown place but everyone helped us. Chandru was always ready to help and he was very kind and friendly person. He made us to think we should stay more for their hospitality itself. For site seeing they recommended John Cabs. John was very calm and helpful. He was very patient while taking for site seeing and he was there when ever we needed. Thank you woodberry for making this stay and tour a pleasant and memorable one.

Very clean room and big spotless clean bathroom. I stayed in a 1BHK. Awesome service especially by the room service boy Suresh, who will always make you smile. Excellent location, hardly 3 mins walk to Botanical Garden and 5 mins walk to the center where you get all the shops and Resto.. Woodberry Residency is located conveniently near all the shops and at the same time you are far away enough to enjoy the stillness and quietness. Mr John is there to provide Taxi services for sightseeing. I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends.
