Bharatpur has a tradition of worshipping Lakshmanji alongwith his consort Sumitraji. The Kings used to invoke the blessings of Lakshman ji before embarking on a war. This beautiful temple with intricately carved pillars is dedicated to Lakshman ji and Sumitraji.

Visit this temple as it is probably the only place with a temple dedicated to Lakshman ji.

Located at the center of the city in the main market of bharatpur this mandir was buit in 18th century. Principal Idols of laxmanji and urmilaji along with other small idols of Shri Ram, Bharat, Shatrughsn and Hanumanji in this temple are made up of Asht dhatu. This temple is encarved with a wonderful Rajasthani sculpture and Architect.

Laxman mandir like heart of bharatpur. Citys mostly big shops is there. And his chat, sneks, drinks is very very good and osam.

Beautiful and peaceful. Once you are here , you won't wish to be anywhere else.

This was a wonderful temple made by ancient artifacts and Objects...
Although I could not go inside because it was not allowed but still I looked around its high walls and I thought that in the olden days too people actually used to build such beautiful and attractive buildings which cannot be made in today's era no matter how we are developed!!!

Bharatpur kajack is one of the good sweet that we get here.. the famous shop is located just opposite to the temple...
Good place for spending time and to have a peacefull environment...

Laxman Temple was an interesting & old temple & is one of the finest and top quality brick temples in India.

It has exquisite carvings and specific construction of design ... which characterises the temple. It is a very interesting temple to see.

It's in a very crowded area & there is food & shops up & down the street.

Recommend a trip to see & experience this temple and surrounds.
I have not visited any temple by this name...
Indeed in the middle of bharatpur's hustle bustle market, this is indeed an intricate work... Got some toys for my kid, a normal or some may say sub-normal market in terms of ambience, looked like one of our sadar market (Delhi), no food outlets as such but you can find city spice( good place to dine) nearly 3-4 km...

Temple has no showoff, but can spend some time sitting ...
