Hotel BluBen Alpine

We stayed at the hotel on 4th and 5th march, 2024. We took a premium double room and a premium family room. Rooms are very big and spacious with a little balcony. Kanchanjangha was seen from the bed. The hotel owner is a very nice and polite person, but the manager is very rude. He doesn’t know how to behave with the guest. However, Other stuffs of the hotel are good. Overall, it was a nice stay.

Very Good Hotel in upper pelling, great location & view. Rooms are great with very good kanchenjunga view. Have all the amenities & good room service.
Hotel food is expensive to be honest but good is quality & taste.
Hotel Manager Nandan & all other staffs are friendly & great host.
Had a very good stay there .
Will definitely visit if i go there again.

Rooms are super spacious and the clear view of Kanchanjungha from balcony is just amazing..Food quality is excellent, as like as home..Great service and staffs are very friendly. We would love to visit again..Thank you Sudan bhaiya and Nandan bhaiya..

and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Pelling, Kanchanjagha Facing Rooms and Balcony. Foods are also very good .

PROS.

1. During our stay on 24 & 25 Sept. 2023,each hotel stuff was very decent, helpful & welcoming in nature
2. I got any required help from them within minutes after calling.
3. From wall to wall glass window and adjacent balcony of my neat & clean Premium room (2nd floor) got crystal clear view of Snow covered Kanchenjunga and dreamy night view of distant cities.
4. Bathroom was spacious & clean, with Geyser & 24 hrs running water.
5. They provided power back for one bulb in the room, one bulb for bathroom & running water during overnight load shedding.

CONS.

1. There wasn't any provision for charging mobiles during Load Shedding.
2. Just renovated bathroom floor is very slippery which require urgent anti slip treatment.
3. Food was little a bit costly & wasn't tasty, at least for our bengali test buds.

The rooms were very clean and bathrooms were sanitised. The room service was good and staff members are polite and quite prompt. The hotel has no rooms on the ground floor; you'll have to take 2 flights of stairs to get to your room; so please check if you're staying with older persons. However, the location is good and there are plenty of shops close by. The food is good. The rooms with view are excellent; make sure you wake up early and not miss the grand sight of the Kanchenjunga from the balcony!

Hotel is very good, neat and clean with great view and at a very good location. Food is delicious. Staff's behaviours were good. Special mention to the owner Mr. Sujan who was very polite, helpful and very gentle. Love to stay there on my next visit.

Over all this property is well maintained and you can definitely stay here if you are visiting Pelling. I would definitely come here again.

Let me break it down properly about the facilities and services that we have received :

Firstly, the hotel is at a prime location and you will get the view of the magnificent kanchenjunga right from your room's balcony. Even if you are taking a non-view room do not worry, because at every floor there is a common balcony.

Secondly, the food is to die for. We tried Alu paratha for breakfast which was better than any restaurant. And if you are getting the hot alu parathas with the view of the kanchenjunga , nothing can be better than that right(yes, you can see the whole range from the dining area also, though we didn't get it because of foggy weather).

We had dinner also, both veg and non veg… and the food tasted really yummy.

Thirdly, the room service and behaviour of the hotel staff is commendable. They treat you like family and will make you feel at home. They are very friendly and professional at the same time.

And most importantly, I loved the cleanliness of the rooms. Even the corridor and the staircase looked clean.

Mountain view hotel. Suden ji and his brother are very friendly. The staff are helpful and polite, cars are available in the hotel and the driver Dipan is a very good person with patience and a smiley face.

Poor wifi connection and not much options is provided for breakfast

The hotel is situated in Upper Pelling, 10mins walking distance from Football ground and 15/20 mins from Helipad. We chose this hotel solely based on public review and have to say it turned out to be true! Though weather ditched us big time and we could only catch a glimpse of Kanchenjunga once very early in the morning (around 5:30 to 6am) but have to say our room was positioned perfectly! We stayed there for 2 nights. A special mention goes to the owner of the property and the staff members for being so warm and welcoming!

Mr. Sudan and Mr. Nandan are very nice warm understanding hosts, we stayed in room 403 premium view room, it's got an attached balcony with mind blowing view of mt. Kanchenjungha, it's a big room with fantastic big soft bed, absolutely odourless spotless washroom and beautiful lights, our stay was very pleasant with yummy food from the hotel's kitchen and very warm room service, Mr. Nandan stays in the hotel and is very prompt to listen all your needs, there is a bengali hotel very near by also with many other veg and non veg restaurants, this room will be ideal for honeymooners and couples visiting in extreme cold months like January, you can talk to Mr. Sudan for your private transport for entire sight seeing and pickups/drops, Mr. Sudan has an equally good property in Gangtok and you trip anywhere in the Beautiful state of Sikkim, I wish all the best to Mr. Nandan and Mr. Sudan for their dedicated work to tourists.

Location is good. Well maintained property. Tasty food. I found its food best in my all Sikkim tours (4 times visited Sikkim). The Manager, Nandan is a jolly good fellow. Smiling personality, alway ready to help. He understands what tourists exactly need. I was very stressed during my tour due to tour agents and drivers (It's an interesting episode). But all my stress vanished during my stay in Bluben. I would like to suggest to book it directly (without any website or agent). All staff are courteous.
