Prepaid Auto Rickshaw Ticket Counter

Had a good experience pre-booking auto at 3:30 am in 2 rs. Got understanding of the fare-estimate though I didn't mind paying more at the end, as per the circumstances.

With Rs 2 as token and charges paid at the end was very helpful and convenient to passengers . There was queues system and the charges were normal saving the passengers from the exploitation of excess charges by autos. There was good security system.

Sometimes prepaid taxi drivers don't give balance of money. It is very bad 😓 mostly in night whe we depend the prepaid taxes to prevent over pricing

This one is maintained by police department. The one stop solution for the entire issues of hectic tarffic of eranakuam. The south station has many important office complexes within 5 Kms

Prepaid counter..., Usually Autos charge more. Always try to use this if needed. Usually long queues when train arrives.

The fare printed on the ticket is a joke.
A person who is traveling will somehow carry luggage but this concept is not well known to the rickshaw drivers or the guy selling tickets.

2 bags = 100 rupees extra. [ Cuz education shooting up their heads ]

Earlier what Kerala lacked was ease of doing business but what it also lacks is easy of transport.

Not sure why the prepaid counter exists if the Auto drivers charges Rs.100 extra at the end of the journey.

Worst level of service set by the Authorities. What's the point in setting up a counter, queueing up and paying Rs.2? Anyways one is going to be ripped. OLA and UBER are far more reliable than autos in Kochi.

Printed rate is just for fun. Drivers are taking lot more than that. No minimum charge is applicable to drivers I think. Very bad experience. For adding fouth person driver taken extra amount of 60 and for traveling a 2 mins extra instead of minimum amount 30 he took 50 saying it was night time. He even asked extra charge for Luggage. There will be luggage with people who are traveling. And he even started disputes for this extra charge. Vehicle was KL43P7183

I thought getting into prepaid auto early morning at 4.45 AM would be a safer option. The ticket price was Rs 176. Enroute, there was a traffic route diversion due to ongoing metro rail construction. The driver had to take a minor diversion and for this he demanded Rs. 250 when I reached my home (destination). I was ready to pay another 10 or 20 extra. But early morning, at my doorstep, this guy was demanding roughly to pay 250. I ended up paying 210 and left him angrily grumbling at th gate. Very bad to experience. Next time, I will opt for Uber instead. Atleast in case if similar experience, we can lodge complaint against driver.

Now a days trains are running late so passengers are facing problems, to add this auto rickshaws are also keeping away from the prepaid counters especially in Ernakulam South Railways station. Normally the intercity from Trivandrum (Guruvayur express) is reaching at Ernakulam south more than 45 minutes late daily. At that time none of the autos are available at prepaid counter. Autos which are dropping passengers at station are going out without touching the prepaid counter and taking passengers from outside the station, they are getting the support of the authorities to escape from the station(in wrong side) without touching the pre paid counter. The passengers who are waiting in queue in front of the prepaid counter have to wait hours and hours. This is not the one day matter this is a regular phenomenon.

Competent Authorities may take necessary action to help the railway passengers. By taking passengers outside the station will help the auto rickshaw drivers to charge exorbitant rate from passengers.

Today i had the worst experience. It was heavily raining and I waited almost for 45 mins and got an Pre paid auto finally. My ride was to Ravipuram. When I showed the ticket he was first reluctant and told me he dnt know the place .. actually It is nearby. I told him I will direct him.. after reaching ravipuram junction.. he asked me to walk rest of the distance.. I said ok nd gave hime rs 35 as printed on the ticket.. he was like... literally throwing the ticket and asking me do you know the diesel price and how dare you Throw me 35 rs. What kind of service is this....... traveling long dist by train Waiting 45 mins and getting this kind of response is really bad that too mon mrng.......

If we go out side the railway station and wait for auto the drivers will ask to take the pre paid auto.. if we go for pre paid auto this is the situation... So please I request to have good drivers and make the people who are really genuinely interested to run as pre paid auto..

These auto drivers charge more than that is printed on prepaid ticket.
These auto rikshaw drivers threaten passengers if we deny to give more money to them.. Even the police in charge of the prepaid counter will not say a word .
Use uber.. Its almost the same cost of rikshaw..

Forget about the stars. The auto drivers are such pathetic people who have no respect for the common man. The prepaid money was 29 and the auto driver charged me 40. I wanted to go to ignou study center and I was carrying. The driver said he cannot go to study center and dropped me somewhere in the middle of the road. I was unaware of the location and routes Somehow managed to reach with Google map.
Never ever rely those fools. They are bad and insensible idiots.

Prepaid charge was Rs. 180 and they charged Rs. 200. Very bad service. These auto people will never change. Better to use Ola or Uber. If auto people take 200, then Ola or Uber taxi is only 195. Better to avoid auto.

First day- first minute at south india & the worst taste of being a tourist. Extreme rude staff. Sits like a district collector. Shouts and gets angry on every passenger. Taking non-justified salary.

The concerned officer sitting at the prepaid Auto Counter of the Ernakulam South railway station is behaving very badly at the public especially common people, especially based on an incident during March 24th after 9 p.m. Actually that officer don't like to do his job.
