Pleasant environment, ample of space for cark park, Temple morning open timing 5am -11am. free meals starts from 11.00am. From Pollachi it took around 1.5 hrs to reach and no toll roads.

This temple is simply nice. Muttarukkal (മുട്ടറുക്കൽ) is famous in this Temple.

The temple will be little crowded on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. Even Many Tamilnadu Devotees are visited during these days.

There is annadhaanam (food donation) for 1000 people on Tuesday, Friday & Sunday between 11.30am to 2.30 pm.
Currently Annadhaanam is provided Daily (EveryDay).

: 5pm to 8pm.

Very large parking area is available here (Inside parking is free). Very helpful.
Chappal counter, Cloak room and Bathroom is available here.
Rooms for rent are available nearby the temple (Charges per day).

I strongly suggest one has to visit this temple atleast once in their life time coz am sure when you leave this temple you just don't walk out empty but you will definitely feel Amma is with you, thts my strongest experience I felt when I left this temple...

Temple which surrounded with beautiful nature. Great spiritual ambience, temple , one of the temple with wheel chair accessible entrance and wheel chair also available in temple for the needed devote. Sunday will be a crowded.

Temple is located at Athipotta, near Alathur. Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays are considered special days for visiting the temple. The goddess in this temple is supposed to be in her very fierce form. A shrine dedicated to "Mookken Chathen", who is guarding the Goddess is situated on the Northern side of the temple. Special Poojas are conducted in his shrine also. Mangottukavu Vela will be held on the 2nd Sunday after Vishu. Ample parking facility is available. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. A wheelchair is also available inside the temple, if required. We had a positive and blessed experience here.

Now Monday to Saturday temple will be closed at 9.am due to maintenance works. Sunday will be same as old upto 12.pm

It is an old Devi temple of Palakkad District. The main idol is Goddess Bhadrakali. Ganapathi & ayyappan are also worshiped as upaprathishta. There is an another upaprathishta namely mookken chathan. People worship him & giving offerings to get protection from black magic & evil powers. The temple is situated in a beautiful village. The devaswom staffs are very friendly and helping people.

It was wonderful temple . And it is my kudumba temple we always used to go . The payasam in that temple is tasty must buy ghee payasam . Pray from your deep inside mangottukavu amman will cure everything . Buy kottu from muganchanthan .It is so powerful ☄

Blessed place, positive vibes once you get inside of the temple, various Poojas and rituals done traditionally, special offerings done on every Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays therefore temple visiting ours are extended.

Nice place to visit here. Timing only different for Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The temple will close soon in these days in morning. Have parking, toilet. Men are allowed here in dhoti only and also need to remove shirt. All know about kerala temples same as this Temple follows.
