Ivormadom Sreekrishna Temple

The place has lodging facilities with 10+ rooms available at around ₹600 per day. There is a small eatery outside where you can get breakfast and lunch (not supper) but not things like room service.

We give our dad second year shradha there in 4 feb 2024. Satisfied with their pooja.

An absolutely divine place.
We stayed at the motel managed by their administration to perform the last rites of our relative. Such a holy place at the riverbank. The temple has a great history and the pujaris are one of the most helpful people who explained the reasons for each step in Puja and clearly recited the mantras.
Administration is quite cordial and warm in treating the pilgrims.

Famous for Bali-Karmam, located in Thiruvilamala near the banks of Bharathapuzha.

It is believed that the Temple is established and worshipped by the Panchapandavas. Ivormadom Sreekrishna Temple is situated on the southern bank of Bharathapuzha, at Pambadi of Thiruvilwamala Grama Panchayat, located in the North-East of Thrissur district.

This place is ideal for doing the Last rites of the deceased Hindu family members. Have good rooms for overnight stay with clean toilets and baths, good canteen for breakfast. Priests are readily available for conducting the services with necessary materials.

Advance booking is preferred.

On 8 th of this month i visited here for Pindom rituals of my mother. This temple situated in the river side of bharatha puzha. The main idol is Sri mahavishnu with upadevathas. Pancha pandavas done the sradha karma here and this place is famous for udaka kriya and andu bali for our ancestors.
We have completed our kriya at 12 noon and taken food from here.

Ivormadom is believed to be one of the sacred places to do Pithrutharpan(Rituals for ancestors). There are pandits available for guiding people to perform rituals. Tickets for Tharpan is available at Sreekrishna temple Counter. Stay and Lodging facilities are also available at the temple. Thilaka homam a pooja for the Moksha of Parethathma are performed in the Temple upon booking.

The legends says that this (Ivor Madom) is the place where Pandavas, after Kurukshetra war, got relief from their mental agony by doing prayers and Bali Tarpanas for their Gurujis and cousins who were killed by them in the war. Bharathapuzha is believed to have cleansed them of all their sins and restored their mental strength. 'Ivor' literally means 'five people' in Malayalam, and thus the temple came to be known as Ivor Madom after the five Pandavas. Even now, hundreds of people come to Ivor Madom Sree Krishna temple and do the last rites and Bali Tarpanam to those departed souls dear to them.

It is ultimately needed temple to be gone by everyone. As it is a very good and calm place. Whoever have problems in their life and whoever thinks want to be relieved from stress you should definitely come here. Many people come here for the ritual reasons and if you come here take a bath in the river which is clear and clean and looks good. And the provided infrastructure by the management is ultimately good. Bathroom are maintained cleanly. And for changing your dresses there is an seperate room for men and women as dressing room. And if you come here for spl.Thilahomam which usually costs 401rs is just you have to wait until they call you as it is mentioned already as spl. As in my experience it is very good.....

Good temple to do our rituals for our ancestors. The temple is in the bank of Bharatha pula river, you have 2 small hotel for eateries and a lodge for your accommodation if needed inside the temple surrounding.

Reached temple with Google navigation by 5.15am. Navigation perfect, and reached without any struggle. Temple is well maintained, cleanliness despite lots of people visiting temple to offer prayers and do Bali darppan.

If you are coming for Bali darppan, there is a counter near the entrance and need to get the receipt and can proceed to the place near river shore. Everyone is cooperative and ready to help.

Great temple. Place for Hindu last rituals on the banks of Nila. Accessible by train easily. Either take an auto from Lakkiti railway station(only some passenger trains stop here) or bus from ottappalam station.
