Kondapalli Fort is historically importan. It is located near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. It has a beautiful palace atop the the hill with too many secret ways to reach. Although the fort is in ruins, with only the foundation of erstwhile structure remaining, effort has been taken to carry out restoration works to prevent further deterioration. You will find big big trees growing out from the walls.

Historical place to visit......There is a fort and museum......Museum Open timings are 10:30 am to 5 pm.... Please do visit during these timings only on any day..... Entrance ticket is ₹30 per person.... Free parking is available for any vehicle

Well suited for family and friends to spend chill weekend...the fort is not so worthy but fine for one time visit. Could spend around 3 to 4 hours easily exploring the fort.
Bike ride to reach the fort is most enjoyable thing as the whole route is covered with trees and full of greenery and view of the city from the hill is breathtaking.
The drawback is there is drinking water facility throughout the day in the fort..
When you visit, make sure to bring enough water and food items..as the prices are high near the fort.

Kondapalli fort is one of the best location to visit as a historical place. Definitely every one will satisfy while watching this fort. As of today's ticket cost is 30RS/- per person. Most of the fort is collapsed but fort boundaries and walls are very strong.

U can enjoy the nature & trekking in mountains will give u good experience n u can enjoy a-lot with ur buddies

Grab a bag n fill with water bottles n carry one stick with ur self wear full sleeves shirts or T-shirt n also shoes.

Kondapalli fort is one of the best places to visit in Andhra Pradesh. Located in krishna district. It takes almost 35 to 40 minutes to reach there by car. It's 25 km from Vijayawada.

Kondapalli is ruled by many king's and it was under many kingdoms. This fort is built on a hill in kondapalli and it's 11 kms to reach hill top from bottom of the hill. There is a small museum established by tourism department where we can know the history of the fort and the kings who ruled that place.

It took half day for us to cover the entire fort. There were some monkey roaming inside the fort. And a ticket of Rs.30/- is needed for an adult to enter the fort. And the fort guys don't allow any food items inside the fort.

Kondapally fort was a great experience to visit. It is a massive fort and we'll maintained. Restoration is in progress. The museum at the entry was quite informative. 4-5 places to see inside the fort. The ghat road to it is quite narrow but safe to drive up.

I liked the ghat road very much, have to be careful with the bike riders mainly students and youngsters as it is very narrow ( single ) road. Quite a huge forte, we could see part of it only, will visit again. Very good view from the top and view point on the road.

This place is good to have a picnic, a visit to the history of Vijayawada or just a casual road trip. It's a great place for young kids. Many people come for the view. Many also come to just have a family picnic or get together. It's an amazing place if the weather is fine. It was well established my the then people and well renovated by AP Tourism even though it's still in progress. It's a must visit.

Best place to hangout with Friends. This is my favorite place from childhood and we used to visit regularly this famous fort with my family and friends. It is very near to Kondapalli Railway station and VIJAYAWADA who ever wants to visit this place.
