Great natural forest. But a lot to maintain here. People disturb the natural animals, they throw stones and shout but authorities do not do anything to prevent it. A busy rail line in the middle of the forest and the trains are moving very fast. Sometimes animals get killed because of the train.

I had a great experience while visiting here, This is considered to be one of the largest National Park in Bangladesh. Where you will get to see a lot of rare species of trees, animals and insects. you'll enjoy walking on the road that goes through the forest, and as go deep inside you notice a drastic fall of the temperature if you are visiting during winter. The train line and the ambience it creates is beautiful to watch.

In summary, you'll absolutely loved this place if you are fond of the natural and it's beauty as you may observe some animals and birds there as well.

Michael Todd's Oscar-winning movie 'Around The World in 80 Days' and famous fiction writer Humayun Ahmed's famous 'Amar Ache Jol'-films were shot in Lawachhara National Park.
Apart from this, it is one of the most special forests in the country after the Sundarbans in three distinct identities: evergreen rain forest × pleasant green beauty × sanctuary of endangered animals.

It was a soothing adventure. Had a couple of hours of walk. There are so many trails and you can spend your whole day there without feeling bored. I only witnessed monkeys but there are more if you go to far deeper part of the jungle. There is a Mosque inside with prayer facilities for women as well.
