Great natural forest. But a lot to maintain here. People disturb the natural animals, they throw stones and shout but authorities do not do anything to prevent it. A busy rail line in the middle of the forest and the trains are moving very fast. Sometimes animals get killed because of the train.

Lawachara National Park or Eco Park is home for wild animals. It is full with various trees. You will find all types of trees here. Here you can find monkey, fox, cat, snakes and so on. Wild animals roam here and there inside Lawachara.

If you visit it on monsoon time you will experience real forest env. u need to energetic and hiking freak for roaming in this foreat.

I loved this place too much. This is my second visit. There should also be an arrangement for the exhibition.

I had a great experience while visiting here, This is considered to be one of the largest National Park in Bangladesh. Where you will get to see a lot of rare species of trees, animals and insects. you'll enjoy walking on the road that goes through the forest, and as go deep inside you notice a drastic fall of the temperature if you are visiting during winter. The train line and the ambience it creates is beautiful to watch.

Beautiful place for travellers who want to explore nature and forests animals.

Absolutely loved this place. If you love green, you have to love this place. In fact you'd enjoy commuting on the road that goes through the forest. You'll notice a drastic fall of the temperature while visiting here so it is recommended to bring warm clothes if you visit here in winter.

Michael Todd's Oscar-winning movie 'Around The World in 80 Days' and famous fiction writer Humayun Ahmed's famous 'Amar Ache Jol'-films were shot in Lawachhara National Park.

It was a soothing adventure. Had a couple of hours of walk. There are so many trails and you can spend your whole day there without feeling bored. I only witnessed monkeys but there are more if you go to far deeper part of the jungle. There is a Mosque inside with prayer facilities for women as well.

An Unique place, The atmosphere feels quite different from any parts of our country. A must visit spot for nature lovers.

Lawachara National Park is one of the major parks in Bangladesh which situates in Sreemangal, Maulavibazar district. A lot of varieties of trees are there. Also it can be said as a wildlife sanctuary as many species of animals and birds can stay here peacefully. A rail line crosses the park. After entering into the park, you can feel the peace and serenity of it. This park was also used as a shooting spot of the television films. A must visit place in the Sylhet region.
