We had a craving for South Indian Food and found this gem!

So we had ordered a Dosa platter which included a Idli, masala Dosa (onion uttapam ) another option. Medu Vada, tomato rice.

The best of all was masala Dosa. We like tomato rice so much that we ordered another bowl.
For starters, we had Paneer chilli which had a nice crispy taste.

The real South indian taste. Dosas are really savour along with sambhar. The delivery is faster than expected for a large order. The staff is humble as well. Good to go and enjoy south indian food. Only the prices are at a higher side.

I'm so glad and excited while writing this but today I experienced one of the best authentic south Indian dishes in the city. This place is heaven if you're into south Indian dishes from their Filter coffee to Cheese Uttapam. We as #thehapsisquad visited them today and I'm glad we did. Started From Dahi Vada, Even had one of the longest Dosa (4ft) I have ever had. Till Cheese loaded Uttapam everything was as perfect as their Coconut Chatni. Ambience is appt so is the staff. 2nd Honey chilli potato these fries are lovely and so tangy,I personally loved them.
3rd Veg manchurian this dish has next level fan base totally loved them.
4th Malabar pratha this is love
5th Family dosa this is huge and ut id for 5 people approx.
6th Mysore dosa
7th cheese utpaam this is next level
8th last but not least Kesari bhat the south indian sweet if you are visiting this place than plz try this one time

If you are in agra and you should visit this place for food. From the moment I landed in agra I found that all taxi, Auto drivers are trying to scam you. They try to grab as much money as they can from you. You need a skill to survive from them. However very surprisingly I found this place exactly opposite. South Indian food is really awesome here. More than food the people are very nice. They tried their best to serve us with quality food with genuine service. I ate then took parcel as well. I owe a big thanks to these people for giving such a nice food + hospitality. I the middle of scammers this is one place in agra which will make you feel worth visiting. Thanks to the owner and all the employees of laksmi niwas. You people deserve full rating.

#thehapsisqaud was invited to one of the best tastings of all times in "Laxmi Vilas". And when I say one of the best, I really mean it.

Starting with the ambience, the outlet is a regular sized family restaurant situated in one the busiest areas of the city, i.e Sadar. The eatery is neither too huge nor too congested, but is beautifully designed and decorated with complete focus on hygiene and sanitisation.

Now, coming to food, where should I start, a picture is worth thousand words.
Manchurian- a must try if you like indo Chinese
Dosai- flavourful. Made in pure clarified butter and are so tasty
Honey Chilli potato - scrumptious
Malabar paratha - A Kerala style paratha, serves with korma, enough for a single person
Desert- keari bhath

Finally, talking about hospitality then again full points. The staff was sober,polite, respectful and kind enough to let us allow in the restaurant's kitchen and chef area.

So if you're looking for a budget friendly restaurant which serves amazing food in proper health safety methods with amazing ambience and hospitality, Laxmi Vilas is the definitely the place to go.

I had the pleasure of revisiting Joney's Place, and once again, it exceeded all expectations! This restaurant continues to impress with its exceptional service, delectable cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere.

We visited Lakshmi Vilas recommended by our home stay owner in Agra afterva week trip of shimla and Manali..As we are from south from Hyderabad...we literally fed up of eating those Maggie,momos n Parantha whole week..we order just one thali to see how it tastes as we don't have trust how they cook south Indian thali ...
After tasting it..we people of 4 adults n 3 kids again ordered 3 more thalis , sambar rice,extra rice,extra dal and Puri n veg manchurian..its soo soo tasty yummy all it's are good..only i found wn we ask for extra curd for meals they told it charged 50 rs..Apart from that we are so happy and ate tummy full and return back to Hyderabad..Must try...

It's an amazing restaurant. And to be informative , it's one of the oldest South Indian Restaurants in Agra. It used to be the only South Indian Restaurants in early 30's or 50's i believe if I'm not mistaken. It has maintained its taste since its origin and continues to serve the North Indian (majorly , being a part of N. Indian State) the best up till yet.

I enjoy eating any dish here and wish to eat all . It's really tasty and even the service is very trustworthy and nice.
Even the workers are very friendly and best customer servers.

I wod recommend you to visit it atleast once ( if not visited yet ) for not only best South Indian Food but also best service.

One of my favorite restaurants. I've been visiting this place since 2005 :) they recently renovated the interior and it looks more beautiful now. The food quality is never compromised and the staff is really very humble.
