Shri Taljai Mata Devasthan

One of the best, peaceful and beautiful temples near dhankavdi gaon. This temple is located in taljai hill. You can also say it as a taljai tekdi in the Marathi language. In this temple you can see the 3 hindu goddess statues. This temple is more than 400 years old. Some sports men come here to practice their sports. A very big and beautiful temple. Must visit if you live near dhankavdi or ambegaon pathar.

Like the premise as good for kids to play ot family to seat together. Positive environment.

Very beautiful place.. Unexpected in pune city... Behind the temple there is forest zone where you can go for morning and evening walk .. Such peaceful place. Well Maintained.. It has washroom gents and Female both... It is also suitable for photo shoots like pre wedding or model shoot.. The timing of forest zone is 5 to 9 am and 3 to 7 pm.. There is no entry charges.. Out side the gate it has amusement park and so many food stalls.. Suitable for kids.. Must go..

Shri Taljai Mata Devasthan is an ancient temple of Taljai Devi located just outside Taljai Vanvihar. It’s said to be more than 400 years old temple. Devotees visit here in large numbers every morning after the morning walk at Taljai forest. A small Maruti mandir is also located within this campus. Surrounded by lush green trees this temple is really a peaceful place for meditation.

Sacred place of Shri Taljai Mata Devi. Lots of space here for meditation etc and really peaceful environment. However, it is very crowded over weekends and also in festival time.

Very pleasant place to visit special in the morning hours when sun rises. It is situated on hill top and gives mesmerizing and spectacular view of sun rise. Many many people come to this point daily morning for jogging, walking, pranayam, yogasons. It has reserve forest type area, commonly refered as 'Taljai Tekedi' by locals, exactly back side to it where you can opt in for morning and evening walk. This place house for many peacocks and rabbits. It as small pond inside where you will find beautiful white ducks and artificial elephant.Muct visit spot.

Care To Take - Since its an isolated location, it is suggested not to stay here after sun set/late evening hours. Many robbery and chain snatching had happened here in past.

Clean and neat place. Nature friendly Taljai vanudyan. Many people violates rules of forest department. Offers unhealthy, cooked food for animals and birds. Throwing corn for peacock is harmful for biodiversity of vanudyan.
